Although the second half of the film is executed very well the film suffers from a variety of flaws. In the first half of the film the score is overblown and takes away from the scenes. In the first half of the film the score is overblown and takes away from the scenes. In fact there is rarely a second silence which manages to take away from the tension rather than adding to it as a score should. Also in the first half there is rarely a shot that lasts for over 15 seconds. The camera jumps around so much it almost made me dizzy. Also the film is riddled with plot holes that revolve largely around Patrick's powers which are never well defined. This being said the acting is great and the second half of the film had some great visual effects and some deaths that could certainly go down in horror movie history.… Expand
