This has to be one of my favorite semi-animated films. It's not brilliant and I won't consider it a masterpiece, but I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the movie that was animated. It's not brilliant and I won't consider it a masterpiece, but I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the movie that was animated. Bill Murray & Chris Elliott's performances are really sub par and very weak. Elena Franklin (the little girl) is perhaps the only "actor" that seems to be trying. Luckily the non-animated parts don't take up to much screen time. The voice actors on the other hand do a fantastic job and play their characters phenomenally. Rock, Hyde Piece, Fishburne & Shatner were perfectly cast. Just a shame that Fishburne's character isn't given a bit more attention as he is absolutely great as a villain. Overall: A great fun movie that could have been a larger success if the live action actors would have made the same effort as the animated voice actors. Expand

Inside of Frank the audience encounters typical issues with a mediocre children’s movies thin characters, excessive pop culture references, and pop songs all of which are annoying but can be excused allowing children to enjoy the film I know I did when I was a kid. Unfortunately, outside of Frank is an ugly story. There is no decent animation to back up the poor writing as Bill Murray is forced to play Frank a character who redeems himself in the end but is so unlikeable its hard to connect with. At the end of the day Osmosis Jones is problematic but no more than a cold something you can easily survive and get through and rarely escalates to the point of a fever. Expand

Brought to you by the Academy Award winning visionary's behind 'Green Book'...and 'Dumb & Dumber', a movie that suddenly become more relevant than ever.

They also bring you a gross Bill Murray.

It may be one of the biggest animated bombs of all time, and also be loaded in pop culture joke after pop culture joke, but just having Bill Murray as in the leading role (sort of), those two flaws can be forgotten.

Fairly entertaining but could have been a lot better and probably should've been a straight animation.

I respect the creativity but nothing else. I didn't know if I had to laugh or not.

. . . The two main live action adult actors, acting is so atrocious, it really made me cringe horribly. I know these turds are famous actors that have been in other movies (can't remember names) but they do a horrible job in this one anyway. . . The two main live action adult actors, acting is so atrocious, it really made me cringe horribly. . . . The very young child actor, while no where near good, at least outshines these clowns. The gross out script and dumb writing make it all the more painful to watch.
. . . The voice acting for the animated part of the movie is much better, mostly.
The plot consists of mostly overused buddy cop tropes

. . . . In some ways the movies worst sin is being incredibly misleading about how anything biologically works. Like a majority of it, very wrong and misleading. Some can be forgiven because it's entertainment. But people would assume at least part of the movie was based on how things really work and that's bad.

. . . . The worst offender is how the movie portrays fever, The movie says fever is directly caused by the infecting organism (bacteria and virus's don't multiple in this movie though...) and that fever past 107f will kill you (and bring you back to life if it drops down again) This is utter BS. You can have a fever up to 107.5 before there is any danger to the brain. Also the body won't just keep getting hotter, normally it never goes that high because fevers are cause by the body to fight the infection, they are normally good to have! Bacteria and virus's don't function as well at fever temps and the immune system functions better at fever temps.

. . . . The body has to work hard to get fever temps, aiding it in getting to those temps reduces the stress on your heart, lungs etc.that would have to work harder to get to the temps it needs. If the sick person feels as though they are cold, and is not sweating, that means the body feels it needs to be hotter, help them out. Give them blankets, hot or at least warm water to drink etc. Also try to avoid aspirin, tylenol/acetaminophen, naproxen, and ibuprofen, which is pretty much all the over the counter pain relievers (these drugs have alot in common in how they work and belong in the same class of drug) Many "cold and flu medicines" have this, so avoid them. (drugs for losing phlegm etc. are fine, just get them on their own) There is a trade off where sometimes the only way to reduce pain is to reduce fever, but even a small amount of temp drop can help considerably with pain. If you or a child is in misery, try using a ice pack on their head (with cloth barriers so it doesn't cool too much, maybe a gel pack that was refrigerated instead of frozen or a cool damp cloth on the forehead or temple) first to reduce the heads temp which may help alot with pain without compromising the benefits of a fever too much. Keep in mind, the more you reduce a fever, the longer it'll take the sick person to fight off the disease.

. . . This movie perpetuates the dangerous myth that fevers are bad. That alone is enough to rate it badly, but it's also generally bad in the entertainment way too
