Open Water 3 is low on all departments, and two of the main ones that affect viewing experience are the characters and the number of thrilling sequences. While I loved the attempt to add some drama between the characters and the use of night vision somewhere during the 80-minute running time, I did not enjoy watching it. The characters are repulsive, which gave me an idea that maybe the director did not care enough to make this an entertaining/serious movie about the perils of going near sharks. The weakest in the franchise. (Grade D). TN.… Expand

I'm a sucker for found footage flicks and this one, while featuring a dumb as rocks story and characters, is entertaining. Most probably won't like it but found footage is the best.

Like if the "action" part was not meh in itself, the beginning was way too long, full of teen BS and even drama. I mean, come on, lol. We are not all kids anymore.

Dear Americans, this is NOT Open Water 3, this is just a film called Cage Dive that whoevers in charge slapped "open water 3" infront of the title to try and make it sell more.

Saying that it is just Open Water where maybe a tiny bit more happens, but it's equally as boring, at least that had some nudity at the beginning haha.
These "found footage" films are just boring, I wouldn't have watched it if i'd have realised (and my wife didn't want to see it). Nothing happens for 90% of the film, it's just some annoying people being stupid and then dying.… Expand
