A snoozefest. Zero chemistry between Bullock and Blanchett. You know when Anne Hathaway seems to be the most down-to-earth and funny character, you've got problems. Yeah, what can you say about this, its got great actresses and all, but it is just so lifeless and by the numbers. It is almost as if it was made for political rather than artistic reasons.

Extremely dissapointing. Characters were developed very poorly, and the plot change made the movie a lot worse. It was so boring in fact, that i fell asleep during the movie since it consisted entirely of dialogue and no action.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Started out promising. Mildly entertaining, even. I had almost broken a smile until the propaganda was shoved down my face. Zirconium. They use ZIRCONIUM as a plot device. This I find interesting, since as we all know, zirconium does not exist and is used only by the scientific community to push their narrative that climate change is in fact real. Well, spoiler alert, Liberals!!! The only reason why climate change exists is because of these STINKY scientists talking about zirconium and their STINKY breaths polluting the air!

That’s right. You heard me. Also the film does not have 8 Oceans, so not only is it propaganda and unrealistic, but it also flat-out lies to you. 0/10… Expand

En dehors de cette équipée de bras cassés qui ont des personnalités d’andouilles plus ou moins périmenazes, c’est bien entendu le scénario qui pose problème : il est à la fois lent, invraisemblable, pas crédible, caricatural, déjà vu… et ridicule ! on se fait donc bien chier là-dedans et à vrai dire tellement chier qu’on n’a ni l’envie, ni le courage, ni la motivation d’aller jusqu’au bout : c’est une purge !

C’est vraiment trop débilos, formaté et con pour qu’on tienne le coup : j’ai donc arrêté les frais au milieu, je crois… ou c’était au tiers. Je somnolais devant la télé, j’ai même cru que j’allais tomber dans le coma si je persistais ! un océan de merde, ouais !… Expand

I spent the whole 2 hours waiting for Clooney and Pitt, nothing, instead of them there is Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway, who has a very low likeability and even a huge group dedicated to hating anne hathaways acting ("Hathahaters") Bullock hasnt been in a good movie in years, bad choices for leads. Its obscenely cliche, even among Ocean's standards, generic diamond heist. Its driven by uninteresting and dull main characters, poor writing and direction. Its overlong and lacks the visual style and sleekness the franchise is known for.

Boring, terrible writing, mediocre story. I went with a date and she even shrugged at the ending. In comparison to Clooney ocean 11 it sucks in every way. No good. The basic message is: It's OK to steal if you get away with it. Of course, the film makers would argue that their job is to entertain, not to deliver a statement about the right way to live. i really did not care if the movie was made up all girls or boys, but the story line so pathetic. if you know how to count the seven actress + Anne, the plot is pretty much open. The cast is the draw here and once you've said that you've exhausted all other possible interest in a film that gets by on a robbery. I really never thought I would find Cate Blanchett this dull. Anne Hathaway is the acting thief here really seeming to enjoy herself, and the film always livens up when she is on screen. However, that doesn't mean there will be an Academy Award waiting. The performance is strident, not subtle! The film itself is dull for the first hour, boring even. The robbery of the necklace is well executed, but credibility in all areas is such an issue that this temporary respite from disdain is just that. James Cordon is surprisingly good as the fraud investigator, but his screen time is short and can't possibly save a film that is already lost.… Expand

My wife apologized for choosing this for our date night. The good news? I get to pick the next 3 months of date night movies. All in all the 2 hours of no plot and misplaced lines was worth hearing my wife admit she was wrong. Lol
