Basicamente, Felice é um homem do mundo,As ruas insólitas de Naples e as atuações muito sensíveis dão conta de segurar a atmosfera intensa e intimista desse filme, cujo roteiro esquemático é muito básico e previsível para ser marcante.
Basicamente, Felice é um homem do mundo, empresário bem sucedido, que retorna ao lar com uma série de sentimentos dúbios. O melhor do filme é justamente o olhar perdido de Felice, mostrando a confusão de sentimentos contidos. Não sabemos exatamente o que se passa na cabeça dele ao retornar à cidade natal, ao cuidar da mãe, po exemplo, seria uma espécie de reparação? De felicidade por mostrar-se útil? De sentimento de culpa por anos afastados?
Assim, o filme não explica exatamente os sentimentos do protagonista, o que o torna bem interessante e instigante, ao mesmo tempo que confere um peso a mais na sua interpretação. Decidido a encontrar um amigo de infância, com o qual tivera um passado que navegava por comportamentos marginais, Felice vai até becos e ruas estranhas, fala com moradores nativos, padres (a influência cristã aqui é notada fortemente, como na arquitetura que embelezam as locações), antigos conhecidos.
A todo momento o roteiro nos alerta do perigo iminente, seja incendiando sua moto, seja em falas de alertas, ou mesmo na trilha sonora. E aí cabe a pergunta: por quê? Qual o objetivo?
De novo o roteiro acertadamente mantem o suspense, mesmo que apresente algumas explicações ligadas ao passado, o ar de mistério e da atuação contida segura o que há de melhor na trama.
Por mais que o desfecho seja convencional, com um clímax morno, achei um filme gostoso de assistir, entretém durante sua projeção, mesmo não sendo tão marcante quanto poderia ser. Nostalgia faz juz ao roteiro, e é algo que nos move de forma mais instintiva do que puramente racional, de modo que, como um todo, toda a história, sob esse ponto de vista, faz muito sentido.… Expand

This is cinema! It has everything and more. Like a more realistic view on crime. On old age. It lifts up a part of the veil of evil, and shows the outcome of different choises. A very humane film, never boring like Aftersun that gets higher ratings, zealous but never mucous. And a little bit of music, although I was so immerged in the story I cant say if there was more. You should be on your way to the theater already, before the movie disapears again.… Expand
