Ok. Calm down critic people. I used to be very solicitous to your opinions but now I'm totally over you. Most people are not watching a movie from an uber-critical, screenplay-rulebook perspective. We just want to have fun and be entertainedOk. Calm down critic people. I used to be very solicitous to your opinions but now I'm totally over you. Most people are not watching a movie from an uber-critical, screenplay-rulebook perspective. We just want to have fun and be entertained for an hour or so. And this movie IS entertaining and is not "bad" at all (I'm a writer, too, so I know when sthg is bad;). Sure it has some cliche moments that all thrillers have come to feature, but that can also be endearing and a sign of using distinct language from a genre, so... get over yourselves, lol, and get some popcorn and watch this movie again with an OPEN mind!!

Idris Elba is a really good actor and he proves it in this suspenseful movie.Elba plays the psychopath perfectly and Taraji P.Henson is an okay actress.The movie is really enjoyable.I highly recommend it.

This film had some incredible talent in front of the camera. The film was smart overall and played out very well. I think the only critique I have is that this was a slow burn and for a film like this, I'd rather it had been a faster pacedThis film had some incredible talent in front of the camera. An upside to this film was to see a heroine who is running from the killer with two small children. It was original and well done. I really enjoyed this film overall.… Expand

Been waiting weeks for this one to come out. Don't get to the movies much these days because they're so awful! But I loved it Don't think it's for most guys though

Good thriller, especially considering the shoestring budget. Even though the script could've done with a little more suspense, the superb acting and directing makes up for it.

There's a few table-turning twists that lend a veneer of final-girl sister-power ... but little else to provide big-screen distraction.
