There is a scene where someone sniffs cocaine and becomes powered up like Super Mario when he takes a Mushroom.

It's a pretty enjoyable suspenseful thriller with dumb writing.

Havana Rose Liu plays a woman on the way to her hospitalized mother, when she gets sidelined by a blizzard. She takes shelter at a park visitor's center, where she discovers a kidnapped a girl in a van. Which of the other people is the villain and how will she save her? While the plot is a bit convoluted, once things take off, director Damien Power creates an intriguing thriller that ends up in a surprisingly intense climax. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Again just a solid but boring movie. Netflix is full of these average movies and just getting bored.
The trailer again shows the best scenes. In between, nothing really happens that you couldn't miss. The director just doesn't manage to put together a consistently exciting film. His first film wasn't good either and that should have been a warning.

Entretenida, no es para tanto, pero si tiene muy buenos elementos como el manejo del suspenso, la trama y la banda sonora, aunque en el tramo final la historia decae mucho, no estropea el resultado en general

The fact that is a made-for-tv movie can't excuse its cheap look; 'Kimi' and even 'Fresh' — also from Hulu — prove that you can make something interesting with little money and by not trying to be too serious.

In this thriller — if you can call it like that because I found no sense of real mystery anywhere — a young woman escapes the rehab center where she's at so she can go and see his mother, who's very ill. Shortly, a blizzard strands her in a rest area, where at least one of the visitors is hiding something.

Mediocre acting, forgettable characters, awful dialogue — you know something's off when there's a gunshot and a character says that "there's only one thing in the world that sounds like a gunshot" — and the most generic story makes 'No Exit' a very bland experience. Not even its 90s vibe and the gore — a pool of blood kills someone! — can save it.

It is 6.5 movie for me - while I enjoyed most of it, what the movie lacked was showing some more of the backstory for some of the characters and there were some plot holes in it. But I did like the whole concept and it was intriguing to watch.

The kind of film that No Exit is, is the kind of film that I love to see when it comes to thrillers, because it's of a kind that you hardly see anymore.

It's the kind of thriller that would have been a big hit 20 years ago for its atmosphere and suspense. For that I give it credit but I must also mention its weaknesses, as its slow start never seems to get going properly and its mystery fizzles out quicker than I would have liked, but there are enough secrets to keep the tension going as it builds to its chaotic climax.

Like many thrillers of this measure, it will work best as long as you don't dig too deeply into its flaws, sometimes it can't be helped, but as far as streaming offerings go it's watchable. Just don't expect anything special.

"No Exit" is beautiful to look at, has some nice shots, and an intriguing story. Perfectly fine limited location thriller. I don't understand the mixed reviews, honestly.

Nevertheless,Streamers, we've been telling you there's tons and tons of content out there to watch and the movie I just watched falls in line. No Exit wasn't even on my gps because Hulu is a last resort, desperation streaming app for me. Nevertheless, after watching Fresh, I figured I'd give this movie a shot. No Exit is a streaming flick about a group of individuals finding themselves stuck during a blizzard at a highway rest stop in the mountains. Our main squeeze Darby, played by Havana Rose Liu, finds a kidnapped child hidden in a car belonging to one of the people inside. She has to find out whodunit and how to get out. Of there. Let's see if Hulu came in the clutch.

Fresh-face-alert - Havana Liu seems pretty new to the acting world and based on this we'll probably see her in many other things. She is a solid lead to root for throughout the film. Semi-fresh-face-alert goes out to Danny Ramirez. He's been in a bunch of things over the last few years including a small role in Falcon and the Winter Soldier but probably more famously he'll be in Top Gun: Maverick, coming soon. Either way, the cast as a whole even as slight as it is plays their roles really well. Each person has their niche and plays it to the T, even you "What's in your wallet" man. Yes, he's been in tons of things other than those commercials over the decades but y'all know who I'm talking about. Sidenote: Strangely enough this movie was filmed in Auckland, New Zealand but it's supposed to be somewhere between California and Nevada and in the middle of a huge snowstorm. It's one of the most random and confusing facts but then I think that this is definitely just a pandemic movie. You can film it anywhere with your cast of 7 in one single location primarily and it'll be fine. But I digress.

The movie has a simple plot as explained above: who kidnapped this kid and how will we get out of this place. Simple enough but the movie has enough twists and turns, drama, and thrills to keep you invested until the end. I don't know if I find this movie particularly groundbreaking or original but it gets the job done.

Long story short, No Exit is a solid pandemic/streaming movie. Short on the number of cast members but not light on the output, except for you Dale Dickey. Suspense, twists, turns, and bloody messes will keep you focused through the movie. Grab a bowl of popcorn and enjoy this thriller in maniller.

No geral, o filme agrada. Recorre a certos clichês, mas tem um produto final adequado ao que se propõe.
