Violent without concessions, and it's better structured than I expected, however the duration and pace are problematic.

A better editing would've done wonders, because you can tell the director tried to make the story more penetrating and atmospheric, but a lot of that is lost when the violence starts, because it basically disconnects you from the other, calmer tone.

Still, I found it exciting enough to keep my attention.… Expand

Night in Paradise is a good feature film.
Its main problems: it has half an hour of unnecessary scenes that cut the pace alarmingly.

closer to a 5 but could not give that due to the beautiful scenery of jeju and the atmospheric cinematography of this film genre. not a bad film but the main actor was quite a lull and necessary stupor acting when he was incapacitated incloser to a 5 but could not give that due to the beautiful scenery of jeju and the atmospheric cinematography of this film genre. not a bad film but the main actor was quite a lull and necessary stupor acting when he was incapacitated in jeju. maybe he was not given a good script and the director needs a little comedic flavour to make the movie palatable.
my only reservation is that korean films are trying very hard to americanize. if true, welcome to the downhill.… Expand
