Uninspired, flat, and overall boring; With no real story to tell that feels like a high school film project- Mute fails at even being a film in every way.

Big disappointment. Story is a hot mess. Boring movie. Waste of time. Visuals been seen in numerous dystopian films nothing new.

Boring plot, dull characters, shallow in every aspect. At some points, i had a mild feeling, like i was watching some conglomerate of random scenes.

I hate to say this is bad because 1) It's an original big budget movie, something we don't see enough of, and 2) this is the directors long time passion project, but it's such a missed opportunity.

I liked it. Maybe folks just can't handle a main character who doesn't talk? Western civilization doesn't really value silence.

Wasn't terrible, about 20 minutes/make that 40 minutes too long, Paul Rudd makes for an unconvincing tough guy, rest of the cast were good.

The film has talent in front and behind the camera, but the results do not show in this boring Blade Runner-wannabe.

Absolutely loved this movie, it kept me guessing throughout and the characters motivations were well hidden. I felt the pace was needed in order to tell the story just right. Best cyberpunk I've seen in a looong time.

Huge Duncan Jones fan (Moon, Source Code) but this fell flat. It's worth watching though for the redemption type ending and Blade Runner inspired visuals.

Plasticky and unimaginative, this movie has the charm and excitement of a 3 minute train ride stretched into 2 hours.

A blade runner clone. Some of the ideas were good. But overall the movie was just dumb. an average sci fi with action. 5 out of 10.

A very special and not easy to follow story, but surrounded with an amazing cinematography and great acting.

While the soundtrack and visuals are better than average, and the ending is satisfying, the film before it is a flat long bore.

Interesting performances in a mediocre Blade Runner rip-off that asks you to root for the bad guys because they are amusing characters."Mute" ran far from the "Blade ......" and didn't reach the "Moon"

Can’t say I hated this movie. In fact, it had many redeeming qualities. Like it was taken from the worlds of 5th element and Bladerunner but show cases a more subtle, low key story.

You like the movie if you watch it until ending. And if you not, that means you didn't see Sam Rockwell out there.

Movie was straight cheeks. There was no reason for the main character to be mute and there was no reason for the setting. None of these were really explored in the movie.

Mute is bargain bin Blade Runner. It has some ideas here and there, but nothing is properly fleshed out or memorable. It's sad to see a science fiction film this feeble and uninteresting come from the man who made Moon and Source Code.
