Murder at 1600 may involve the White House (which usually produces some very effective political thrillers), but don't be fooled; this is just some very good-looking trash with some stars to glamorize it even more. When I first thought about this is going to be exciting like many action films you see today, and when I think about it after I've seen it I'm thinking "Mmm, it doesn't have a lot of action in it but still." My thoughts on it is that the filmWhen I first thought about this is going to be exciting like many action films you see today, and when I think about it after I've seen it I'm thinking "Mmm, it doesn't have a lot of action in it but still." My thoughts on it is that the film is mediocre. A secretary woman, Carla Town, is murdered in the White House and it is up to Homicide detective Harlan Regis, played by Wesley Snipes, to investigate the conspiracy while Secret Service works against him. He's assigned agent Chance, played by Diane Lane. Yeah, that's all I can do about this. Nothing more to say about this. It's a pretty forgettable movie. Expand
