Jennifer Lopez is a total loser. Does she really think she can act???? Fonda was quite funny even with the stupid jokes she was given. Maybe if someone actually wrote the script with a little brain power it could have been better.

I love Jennifer Lopez, but this movie sucked big time. Jennifer Lopez is not only a good singer, but a good actress too, but she seriously needs to choose much better roles! The only good thing about this movie was Wanda Sykes as Viola’s (Jane Fonda’s titular character) assistant and sidekick. Jane Fonda overacted her role and Jennifer Lopez underacted her role in this movie. Expand

So much of the money used to buy tickets for it could have been spent on dozens of superior films. Paying under $4.00 to see it on video, and there were two of us, was bad enough, but the #16.00 it would have cost us in a theater would have been criminal. This was a film that wanted to be a number of things and so wound up being none of them. Expand

Gosh, this was a really bad movie. This is a new low for J-Lo, and that's saying something. The gags run from mildly annoying to downright life-threatening. Notice 'funny' was no where in there. Notice 'funny' was no where in there. The plot is especially thin and uninvolving, even for this kind of movie. I found my attention wandering while I watched it, which I don't think has ever happened to me before while I watched a movie. Wanda Sykes puts in a pitiable performance as the comic relief. Her Greyhound commercials were funnier. Every actor and actress in this has done much better work. Avoid this film at all costs. Expand

An absolute atrocity, this is the worst I have ever seen by a long shot, who could possibly say Jane Fonda was good, the most annoying acting Ive ever seen. Wow I am still stunned it was pitiful.

JLo is an arrogant and deplorable woman who doesn't know what quality and talent is. His works are hideous and dark.
