Visually stunning. Great story, too. If you can't think, or don't get very strong imagery, you won't like this movie. Definitely for those who understand literature, art, and themselves.

The brilliant visual imagination that created Mirrormask makes up for the somewhat garbled plot.

Amazing. From the story to the beautiful art direction, Mirrormask shines. Very, very brightly.

Extremely creative movie, able to be enjoyed as a simple story or as an allegory with whatever meaning you prefer. Truly a great movie, of which I know many people who should see it. Good themes running through it, as well.

I love Valentine. He was dumb, but sweet.

A vastly underrated wonderland. Brilliant cinematography and breathtakingly gorgeous art set in a traditionally based children's tale. Well worth your time.

Don't be fooled - this is a solid and heartfelt work of wonder, and the best I've seen this year.

Very theatrical, almost stage-like and a visual treat, though Gaiman's writing is as derivative and formulaic as ever. The star of the show is seeing Dave McKean's artwork in motion.

Strange yet beautiful film. I love the look, the music, and the story. I enjoyed this movie a lot more than Pan's Labyrinth (which was also strange yet beautiful).
