The story follows Dave (Michael Buonomo) on his first day of work at a run-down old hardware store on Christmas Eve. He is in for the worst night of his life, except he doesn't know it yet.

The story begins with him meeting his crazy co-workers, played hilariously by a team of actors that expertly run their jokes on each other like comedy pros. Each character is well developed and full of likable lunacy. The assistant manager Jack (Chad Ridgely) is an absolutely adorable nut who gradually loses his marbles over the course of the movie to great comedic effect. Black Jack (Aikido Burgess) has some of the funniest comebacks I've ever heard, and Tara (Melissa Saint-Amand) is a true goth misfit. Barbie (Amber Jean) provides some very exasperating eye-candy as well. Co-directors Jim Klock and William Mark McCullough make appearances as Otto and Santa, respectively, and are outright crazy entertaining in their own right.

As Dave'e shift progresses, he's sent on assignment by the boss, Mr. Kipper (Doug Burch) who's just the right amount of creepy, to move a big red tool box. Turns out the box contains a dead guy and a very substantial sum of money, which starts the crew plotting. Naturally, they all make the wrong choices and greedily make a play for the money, with rampant stupidity dictating what happens next with truly hilarious results.

I laughed so hard I nearly cried at the shenanigans of the crew and the go-for-it writing that wasn't afraid to embrace the brash in your face comedy style many films are too timid to explore.

Massacre on Aisle 12 is a great romp through hilarity and the kind of film that will have you quoting it afterwards.

This movie definitely qualifies as one of the funniest films I've seen in some time. I'mThis movie definitely qualifies as one of the funniest films I've seen in some time. As a viewer who watches hundreds of films a month, it's often difficult to find something fresh and unique in a market awash with unoriginal content. I'm very happy to say that Massacre on Aisle 12 stands out in its category and successfully combines comedy and thrills to bring a horror/comedy worthy of accolades.

Following Dave as he starts his first shift at a run-down hardware store on Christmas Eve, the film introduces a wild cast of characters that deliver clever dialogue and a fresh retro-style of humor oft discarded by today's film makers. The shift seems normal as can be until the haggard bunch comes across a corpse and a crate of cash, and then the real fun begins.

With a quick pace and a lot of jump scares, I was super pleased with the film and happily give Massacre on Aisle 12 an enthusiastic two thumbs up.
