It was a good movie. Some parts of the plot were a bit far fetched, but it had a good ending and left you feeling good.

I enjoyed this romantic comedy. Marry Me is predictable, but very pleasant; along the same path as Two Weeks Notice, Pretty Woman, and Notting Hill. Jennifer Lopez is stunning and the character she plays is down to earth in a clueless sortI enjoyed this romantic comedy. Jennifer Lopez is stunning and the character she plays is down to earth in a clueless sort of way. Kay Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) is a very famous pop/rock star who has people who do everything for her, and when she’s getting to know her new husband, Charlie (Owen Wilson), he challenges her to do things for herself. Charlie a single father/math teacher, who’s just an all around grounded, good person. He just wants to do the right thing and live life with no drama, no social media, and no craziness. He’s predictable, a little boring, and easy to love. After they get married at her concert, they proceed to get to know each other, learning along the way about life and true love. It’s a feel good movie with good music that will make you feel warm and fuzzy. Go see it.… Expand

Just a sweet, lovely rom-com! I learned that all the fame and money still can’t buy true love….it’s a priceless commodity. Now, of course JLO was amazing and beautiful as always; at times, it felt like Kat and JLO were one in the same with the commentary she’d make on marriage, work, and being a celebrity. I was surprised with Maluma’s cameo; he’s a great actor! Overall, it was just effortlessly well done. There were some cheesy (unrealistic) moments but the story just felt so genuine! The MUSIC is so catchy, I had to download the soundtrack after the movie :)… Expand

It’s surprisingly good. The trailer didn’t do movie justice. JLo and Owen really shine in the movie, but it didn’t show in the trailer. I love this film. I love JeLo's Role, Kat. Owen plays a math teacher who is very nice and kind. Actually, math is super important. Overall, I laughed, enjoyed, and loved it!

Despite being a somewhat predictable film, it develops in an excellent way, the versatility of Jennifer Lopez is incredible, she dominates the film.

As soon as my girlfriend saw the preview, we were definitely watching this movie.

This movie lacked diversity. Indians were very underrepresented. Also, calling your black assistants 'help' is very derogatory. Overall this movie was not bad. But signing was horrible.

Why would anyone think this resonates with regular people? For those that simply must have all the details on celebrity lives, you have a myriad of outlets that pander to you. Why a movie? This is just hot garbage. I can't for the life of me understand how this makes money. Now THAT would be a great documentary; how do seeming flops end up actually making a studio money?

You had the rocky father-daughter relationship, the Mathalon student in a wheel-chair, sign-cards with proclamations of love, etc. J-Lo and Owen Wilson had about as much chemistry as a broomstick and a dustpan, and we learned what Wilson looks like stripped of all comedy, which is boring and old. Since he's a scruffy math teacher, their lifestyles obviously clash. The story goes where it's expected, so it's up to the writing and performances to make it special. Lopez looks fabulous in great fashions, while taking her role seriously. Wilson serves up his usual hapless charm, which works for his character, but it's Sarah Silverman, as his guidance counselor friend, who brings the funny. It's obvious by the constant original musical numbers that a soundtrack is the movie's side hustle. As for the writing, there's nothing new or especially amusing. Overall, the chemistry between the couple is genuine and their performances elevate the film slightly out of run-of-the-mill romcom.… Expand

The idea of the film is just ludicrous, even for a rom-com, but of course, the idea in the genre has always been that you have to believe it, and it's undeniable that Marry Me tries to do that in every possible way to justify its plot, but itThe idea of the film is just ludicrous, even for a rom-com, but of course, the idea in the genre has always been that you have to believe it, and it's undeniable that Marry Me tries to do that in every possible way to justify its plot, but it cannot do it for many reasons, but the main one is because there's no genuine chemistry between its main characters, and they are the ones in charge of selling the story, and if they themselves don't seem to believe it, what can you expect from the audience?

I admit that for many people that may not be the case, and to tell you the truth I have no problem with that, I just didn't find competent reasons to say this was funny, let alone romantic.… Expand

Marry Me is a classic romantic comedy, the special touch comes from its pop music. Jennifer and Owen provide a beautiful couple with a lot of chemistry. And Maluma also did very well. It's worth checking out, it's a great entertainment session.
