Misunderstood by most. Great acting by the entire cast. Strong story of a troubled vet, and his love for his son. I admit, i was lost for a while with the flash backs and war torn USA but found the ending to be enlightening and it madeMisunderstood by most. Great acting by the entire cast. I very much enjoyed this movie. It was confusing at first, but it started to come together the longer I watched it. The acting was riveting in each scene. The acting is really what carried this movie. The message of the movie was clear. I wasI very much enjoyed this movie. Good duo of Kate Mara & Shia LaBeouf.

The film certainly makes us think about the fragility of the inner and outer world.
The war is cruel and meaningless and the soldiers on it are weak-willed pawns.

The performances were spot on. The story is hard to watch but moving at the same time. Shia labeouf was incredible.
