Spoken in old English which is difficult at best to understand. Follows the play too closely and misses as a "followable" story. The motives of the characters are lost and the movie becomes painfully boring and monotonous.

I may be wrong, but I think this may be the single worst film of a a Shakespeare play that I have ever seen. At least they had the deency to say BASED on the play Macbeth.

There were very few scenes where emotion was shown. Otherwise, everything felt flat and emotionless. There many overwhelming scenes where there was too much going on.
