With interviews featuring many of her collaborators, a wealth of archive footage and excerpts from her own journals, Gilda Radner comes to life once again, entertaining both those who knew her work and others who are just now discovering it. An account of her story is long overdue, but it was well worth the wait. Expand

Luckily, her life was captured on film from an early age, so this doc had plenty of wonderful footage that continues thru her life and career. There are interviews with close friends and several more recent members of the SNL cast reading her writings (as well as audio commentary from her own tapes). My only complaint is that the filmmakers assume you know her work, because the excerpts are very short. Anyone who's not familiar won't be able to appreciate her talent. An extremely loving tribute. NOTE: Stay thru the credit for one last batch of her wit. Expand

Pleasant workmanlike documentary. I enjoyed this but I wouldn't say I was affected by it. Saw this at the theater, and a lot of the old archival footage shots had some bad compression artifacts.
