This movie was just plain awful. The true events make for an interesting film, but the way it was done made me uninterested. The true events make for an interesting film, but the way it was done made me uninterested. I just hoped the format of the film would change to vary the cadence or tone of the film, but it never did. No, wait, it did, but for only a minute. It was the only moment in the movie that popped for me. Strong, but bad, directing choices. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Hello. When people have gone to such trouble to be accurate, it is difficult to say that a work is not true. I think hat the makers very much wanted intimacy, with the subjects- they do care. It is the plight of these people, translated into opera.

Description: The whole being set to music, a non-entity road, London Road, in Ipswich - a cul de sac, is only really famous, for having prostitutes. And more famous, because a serial killer has killed five of them. The man is caught - he is a resident of the road. He is put in prison. The neighbourhood, breathes a collective sigh of relief, and has a gardening contest. Reaction: Like going to a luxury hotel and getting crisp, clean sheets, the care taken over it is palpable. The murderer is denied a song.
I rate it , I have to say. Thank you.
