Summary:
After a traumatic childhood being bullied Brenda (Young) and her immigrant friend Jonathan (Schoyen) grows up realizing that nothing has changed since childhood. In a desperate attempt the middle-aged friends start up their own business in Los Angeles to get their lives on track and gain respect from others.
