While the atmosphere and the intrigue do their job, I can't say the same for the horror and I'm sorry, but if you're trying to induce it, because you're selling yourself as a horror thriller, then you need more than just a creepy tone. Leave is the classic movie that lets you know from the start that there's more going on than meets the eye, so following the mystery depends a lot on how much you really feel invested in its narrative and, for the most part, the atmosphere succeeds in doing that, but once the answers start coming, they seem overdue and inconsequential and, for the most part, the horror is still missing.
