Pedro, and his friends, had been accosted at gunpoint by another boy with a gun trying to steal their cellphones. However, after a scuffle the robber is stabbed and left bleeding on the streets. Knowing they'll be violent revenge from the family of the boy, Andres forces his rebellious and headstrong son to leave their home and go on the run with him. Stark and brutal realism here,as the duo must try and survive on odd jobs and sleeping where and when they can. However, the forced time together will give them a chance to possibly improve their difficult relationship.

This is the feature debut of Venezuelan filmmaker Gustavo Rondon Cordova, and from what I've read he is trying to illustrate the trying conditions that many in his native country are facing these days. The characters are very real here, but the movie is not for the faint of heart, as it can be difficult to watch at times with its unrelenting dark tone. Also, don't expect a kumbaya ending either.
