Krrish 3 counterbalances its drama and great acting and a few good action sequences with cheesy dialogue, bad songs, action overkill and a plot that is overly derivative of almost all other superhero sci-fi flicks.

While Krrish 3 contains impressive drama and explosive action sequences but fails to pair them with good songs and instead borrows from countless better movies to create a super mess.

It wasn't excellent and it wasn't bad either. Roshan stars as Krishna- a village boy with superpowers and his autistic dad Rohit Mehra (also Roshan) who stand against a deadly virus and shape shifting mutants. As far as Priyanka Chopra goes, no comment. But Kangana Ranaunt has done an amazing job as Kaya, a person copy mutant. Vivek Oberoi is Kaal, wow. Oberoi did a very good job balancing the acting and how he played a telekinetic person was epic. Hritihk Roshan was da BOMB. His acting was perfect as Rohit and Krishna and a double role. This a carry on sequel of Rakesh Roshan's Koi Mill Gaya and Krrish. This film also is directed by Rakesh. The first two were my favorite superhero hindi movies as a kid. Krrish 3 has corny VFX but the story ignites the kid inside us, it has a value of being good and bad. Krrish 3 is beautiful, hard-hitting and awesome. Expand

It is beautifully filmed, loved the storyline (about time we had a superhero who was uplifting and provided morals, especially for the younger audience members. Kids deal with so many issues today..isn't it time they had a superhero to actually look up too). Hrithik Roshan is perfect again...he never lets you down..he is one of the greatest actors of our generation I believe. Watch him in Guzarrish, Agneepath, Lakshya, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara or Jodha Akbar. His range of characters is phenomenal. In Krrish 3 he actually plays 3 characters and is amazing. The villains of the film are NICE suprises and both actors handled their parts well and they were both worthy adversaries to play opposite Hrithik's superhero "Krrish". I expect thisKrrish3 to win Best Foreign film at the Academy Awards and to take Best Picture, Director and Actors at the Indian Academy Awards...so far Krrish 3 is the biggest money maker in Indian Film history..not surprised. I'm so looking forward to seeing Krrish4!!:) Expand

Krrish 3 is not only a BIG film but transcends expectations. The film makes you proud how far we, as a film industry, have come. It also makes a bold statement that our industry is at par with Hollywood when it comes to special effects.

This movie is pure dumb. A lot of it is silly and cheesy, and it all seems unintentional. Even if it is intentional, the fact that it seems unintentional is still equally damaging. The songs stink and the performances are okay.

They're ripping off Hollywood blockbusters which made more money. And, they don't have brains to figure out that the primary film selected to be plagiarized in this film was the worst X-Men film after X-Men Origins: Wolverine till date. .
.
Good : The only genuinely good thing about this movie is that Hrithik Roshan is really great as all the three characters - Rohit, Krishna and Krrish. The other thing I really had great time with whilst watching this nonsense was trying to figure the X-Men character they ripped off to create the character I am seeing on screen. Apart from these, nothing was there, except trashy things. .
.
Bad : This, despite (in its core) being a kids movie, feels like a cheesy rehash of some bad Hollywood superhero movies. As a kid's movie, it's something that even the kids will consider to be dumb, compared to other films made for them. It is superbly lazily written. It has no story inside it, the major plot points being ripped off of "X-Men: The Last Stand" (2006) mainly. That was the most commercially successful X-Men film at that time, and at the same time a pile of stinking trash. Since Bollywood wants to make money, they copied shamelessly from that movie. A lot of things are similar to "The Avengers" (2012) and "Man of Steel" (2013) regarding the destruction that takes place in the movie. There are some desi plotlines in this movie that feel incredibly hilarious. Just to make it look different, they made use of the same old story elements that is predictable to say the least. Leaving aside the Hollywood ripoff things, it creates a huge number of plot holes and inconsistencies regarding the franchise. The way Rohit speaks after the events of the first film doesn't explain itself. He was intelligent but still foolish after the events. And Krrish's powers are still not explained, which feel like the over amplification of Rohit's powers. In this movie, it feels like Krrish is a love child of Superman, Batman and The Flash rather than Rohit's son. Kangana plays the love child of Shadowcat and Mystique. Vivek Oberoi who looks like an illegal son of Saif Ali Khan in this movie, plays the love child of (drumrolls) Professor X and Magneto. And these aren't the spoilers. The songs were useless in the first place, and to make this garbage more stinky, it greatly hampered the pacing of the movie. .
.
Conclusion : It is loathesome. I give that Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish weren't entirely original and took a lot from E. T., Batman Begins, Spider-Man, Matrix, etc. But still they acknowledged the references in the subtext and didn't pretend to be original. And besides, they had stories to be told! This one has none of it but is too pretentious in the sense that it pretends to be the most original idea ever. Had it been, it still is a little flawed. But it ain't. This is the perfect example of plagiarism. .
