Another example of why they need to stop making live action adaptation of famous animes. This is just some random "sci-fi" film loosely inspired in Knights of the Zodiac.

So very bad. Basically like one of the least inspired Power Rangers episodes with an effects upgrade, but with only one power ranger. Should be called Knight of a Zodiac, since Seiya/Pegasus is the only knight we get. Should also come with aSo very bad. What is this this??? lol This rivals dragon ball live action movie when it comes to the worst adaptation ever. Imagine wasting millions for this.

One of the WORST adaptations ever made of an Anime, an absolute lack of respect for the original work, the fans and the heart of the franchise.
It has nothing redeemable, a nonsense of epic proportions.

the film has nothing to do with the original work, poor script, adaptation suffered, and the armor that should be the high point, seems to be made of rubber, they should respect the fans when adapting a work of this level

Me gusto la vi dos veces, la vi con mi hermana y la pasamos bien, ahora ella quiere volver haber la serie. No me gusto la banda sonora, cambien al compositor.

why?? why?? why the flying f*ck would you not include the other bronze knights in a knights of the zodiac movie?? that was unforgivable. so they were hoping for a sequel to then include the other knights? talk about being delusional. ofwhy?? why?? why the flying f*ck would you not include the other bronze knights in a knights of the zodiac movie?? that was unforgivable. so they were hoping for a sequel to then include the other knights? talk about being delusional. of course that would never happen. this was the one chance they had. my expectation was super low, but still, even if they wanted to keep this weak ass story, they could at least have made mark dacascos character be shyriyu for example (although i would have prefered a different and younger actor of course). and not even one gold knight? im a huuuge knights of the zodiac fan, so i will admit that some scenes gave me goosebumps though. but still, it would have been so easy to also include the other bronze knights. at least as cameos ffs. the training with marin was kinda cool, very reminiscent of the anime. fight choreography was surprisingly good. design of the armor was ok. but man, no shun, yoga and shiriyu? dude..… Expand

Passable but...
It's a movie inspired by a famous anime, manga (and Toy line) series of late 80's, where mystical warriors inspired from various constellations and classic greek mitology clash with each other. Anime in particular was veryPassable but...
It's a movie inspired by a famous anime, manga (and Toy line) series of late 80's, where mystical warriors inspired from various constellations and classic greek mitology clash with each other. Anime in particular was very successful and has a cult following to this day.
Review:
This movie seems filmed in the early 90's, when film adaptation of comics/manga/videogames where cheap, and only loosely based on the original works (like Masters of the universe, Barbwire, Double Dragon..). This movie has the same cheesy dialogue, low budget fx, over the top action sequences, cold colors palettes, famous actors tossed in for a cameo, changed plot-looks and setting from original work.
You can have sone fun with this movie if you want to watch one of those cheesy film of old (like 90's Super mario movie).
If you are looking for a faithful, modern take on Saint Seya you will be disappointed.
This movie it's WYSIWYG in the trailer, so take a look at the trailer and you can get a good impression of the movie… Expand

vi la película,las pelas están bien, pero la historia es mala, hubiera empezado la película desde el entrenamiento y poner al shun y darle otro contexto a fenix y darle mas minutos de pantalla. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Questo film è lo schifo più totale. Dovrebbe trattare l'arco dei cavalieri neri, ma non solo non lo fa, ma aggiunge cose che non c'entrano niente. Perché il villain è la ex moglie di Alman di Tule? Perché Cassios è tra i cavalieri neri? Perché Docrates è al servizio di Alman? Perché Patricia viene rapita? Perché Seiya è un combattente di strada che si fa chiamare "Street kid Seiya"? Perché poi si fa addestrare da Castalia che dovrebbe lavorare per il santuario, per combattere contro il Santuario? In un film in cui "Phoenix" è il cattivo principale, dove sono gli altri protagonisti? Anzi rettifico, DOV'È ANDROMEDA? Perché Isabelle ha le crisi epilettiche? Insomma, anni fa hanno fatto un film in CGI che ha fatto schifo, tempo dopo hanno prodotto una serie Netflix che ha fatto schifo, e ora questo. Toei continua produrre questo pattume anziché terminare Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, o in generale adattare ad anime tutti i manga usciti tra il 90 e i primi del 2000, che piacerebbero al pubblico… Expand
