I work in the visual effects industry, I was rather impressed at the jump forward this allowed for france, the team that made the film was very small.. and was spanned over a few years, you can connect to this movie incredibly well, or you I work in the visual effects industry, I was rather impressed at the jump forward this allowed for france, the team that made the film was very small.. and was spanned over a few years, you can connect to this movie incredibly well, or you can miss the point of it all together. Selective target audiance, but alas, everything is. I give it a ten, for its potential, its beauty, and for its story (which isnt as linear as most mainstream, thus refreshing).… Expand

This movie is weird, strange, complex and ahead of its time for 2004. I am surprised this is not a CG cult classic, I am sure it will be at some point when that becomes a thing. It is very evocative of The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, in it'sThis movie is weird, strange, complex and ahead of its time for 2004. It is very evocative of The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, in it's creepy characters, creatures and monsters. Not to mention there is some truly beautiful art work happening in this film. I am impressed with the imagination and creativity of this films visuals and complex story telling. It is strange watching the CG from the days of yore, but I was definitely sucked into another world and taken on a journey that left me strangely and satisfyingly affected.… Expand
