The characters are entirely unlikable save for the grandfather (even he has very few redeeming qualities besides being the only one to bare the responsibility of two children) this grandfather enables the main character despite her complete lack of any attempts to overcome her struggles. She takes no responsibility for and seems to disdain her own children. The family that cares for Justine are characatuers of rich snobs with only the mother getting a few redeeming scenes where she engages with her child. The father doesn't exist. Only ever appearing as a subservient child or a racist bigot. Oh and you'll get a great chuckle out of the "make me a sandwich line" if only for how obviously divorced this dialogue is from reality. This movie is moronic. Written by an ideologue foe ideologues. The dialogue, scene composition the whole flow of this movie reeks of a highschool tier production scratch that a tumblr tier production. Many have touched on the complete anticlimax that this film is and there right. But worse than that this movie is dumb. I get the image of a 16 yr old girl fevourishly writing a self indulgent fan fiction and that unedited script somehow being produced. There is nothing redeeming about this movie I regret every minute I wasted attempting to unravel this utter dumpster fire of cinematic drudgery. 0/10. Expand
