This is a somewhat sobering watch. It's mainly a somewhat slow drama about 2 sisters who become separated when one travels to Europe and the other tries to keep in touch and to help her out. It's mainly a somewhat slow drama about 2 sisters who become separated when one travels to Europe and the other tries to keep in touch and to help her out. As the story develops, the context of the time its set in (the 1930s and latterly Germany) makes things seem, inevitably, more serious than it perhaps initially seemed. Its a relatively good drama, which may be somewhat thought provoking, although I wouldn't call it a particularly memorable watch but there is some interesting dialogue and the cast is ok. As a thoughtful piece of 1930s period drama, this isn't bad at all - not great but not bad. I'd recommend it if the main story really interest you, yes.… Expand
