A video game movie for those that like to see things blow up...buildings, cars, people or those things common to any movie for the mindless violent hungry public. The "hero" must have killed over 100 of the "bad guys." The "hero" must have killed over 100 of the "bad guys." This excess gratuitous killing makes those that are killed only a meaningless player. Not a person just an image. Movies like this make light of shooting someone and helps to implant into some of the viewers that life means nothing and shooting someone simply means nothing more then bringing down a character in a video game. Watch this movie and then watch the nightly news...John Wick's characteristics are being assimilated daily in our shoot em up society.… Expand

Really bad movie! I can't even call it a movie, it's more like a clip. Many new characters, non developed and non interesting characters that has no reason to be here. Very simple and predictable plot. Many embarrassing scenes for film makers.

The first was brilliant. Great characters, a great pained portrayal by Reeves and amazing action.

This feels like a Mad TV knockoff of the original, written by a 6 year old and directed by a drunkard.

Maybe I am too old (40+) for this kind of film, but is there really an audience for wall to wall mano-da-mano fist fights, people being run over by cars and gun-fetishism? Insanely boring and mind-numbing.

Unwarranted reference to Harold Loyd in the promo poster, this is lazy lazy follow up to the very good original. This is just a boring generic remake. An absolute piece of garbage of a film.....it is ridiculously bad ,John Wick is "the Ghost" and the "Bogeyman"a legendary figure from the murky world of organised crime so we're told ....the problem with this" Ghost " business and the factAn absolute piece of garbage of a film.....it is ridiculously bad ,John Wick is "the Ghost" and the "Bogeyman"a legendary figure from the murky world of organised crime so we're told ....the problem with this" Ghost " business and the fact that he was I presume a hitman before he retired is that everybody knows him ....from doormen to tailors ,the Milkman ,and even a Policeman ... who at the beginning of the film asks Wick after he's home is destroyed by the main villain "are you working again John " , so much for being a member of the Underworld ....He must of advertised in the local courier (Man with van and Gun ) and it just goes from bad to worse , from a bullet proof suit ....yes.. you heard right... a bullet proof suit (it as a kevlar layer sown into it don't you know ) to the bad Guys that couldn't hit the side of a bright yellow barn at ten yards with an Uzi.....Oh ! and for some reason they all seem to run from positions of good firing cover directly at Him with their Gun Arm outstretched so that he can disarm them ..... it's painful to watch it really is , I cannot tell you how many times He was run over because I could not watch the whole movie it was actually starting to physically hurt but I would say three or four times and to my surprise and every Paramedic in the World being run over at high speed isn't dangerous ! just stings a bit ....really not a big deal ....the whole movie from start to almost finish was terrible ,laughably bad in places , I would have enjoyed it when I was ten or maybe nine but for an adult ( that hasn't been lobotomised ) giving this a five star rating is worrying , I know that this type of film is about fast action and whatnot but that doesn't mean it as to be totally brainless and this film is for the totally brainless so if thats you in a Nutshell....enjoy… Expand

Let me sum up JW2. 1. People can't shoot John from 6 feet away. John can shoot people from 6 feet away. 2. John bought a copy of "Judo for Dummies." 3. John Wick 2 is devoid of any plot element and the fight scenes, which are mediocre, do not make up for a lack of plot. It is not a real movie with acting, scenario and directing. Just a fight game in Apple Store or Google Play. I am giving this a '0' since I was so disappointed in this movie. I had high expectations due to the positive ratings. In a nutshell, this movie has no storyline other than about 1/2 of the population are assassins, these assassins try toI am giving this a '0' since I was so disappointed in this movie. I had high expectations due to the positive ratings. In a nutshell, this movie has no storyline other than about 1/2 of the population are assassins, these assassins try to kill John Wick but they literally can't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing 10 feet away, and then John Wick kills them. Not kidding - John Wick easily kills over 300 supposedly trained assassins in this movie. John Wick has no personally to sympathize with. If you are looking for non-stop action, which doesn't always make a movie good, and lots of blood and guts and heads being blown off, then you might like this movie. I ended up fast-forwarding through some of the major action scenes since they were all pretty much the same - 100 assassins come after John Wick and he kills them all. So I knew where the scene was headed and just wanted to get closer to the end of the movie.… Expand

More unrealistic "take on a hundred guys at the same time and win" BS. First one was cartoony and cheesy AF. Second one is no better. Too Cheesy. It's truly a 6/10 but giving it lower to offset the stupid reviews. I was disappointed after seeing the glowing reviews and talking about the choreography....wow the fight scenes are just bad. Turn your brain off, enjoy someToo Cheesy. A rehash. Isn't compelling. Most the ideas in this movie were taken from the first. Surely there was a better way to integrate the setup of Wick's character? It just comes across as sloppily done. The film is not a cartoon so some realism should be there. The fighting scenes, and there is not much else, are ridiculous. But it appears many people like it.

Violence for violence's sake. This movie was tiresome within 30 minutes. Why are we supposed to care whether Wick wins or dies? The movie has no soul. It's just stylized violence for teenagers looking for Hollywood's most kickass badass.

More unique plot, but fight scenes just as bad as the first film. Bad guys turn in to statues whenever they encounter him. Slow unrealistic hand to hand combat. The movie itself was ok but watching at home on t.v was annoying.... The shooting scenes and music was SUPER LOUD, then they would start talking and it would be so low you could hardly hear. So throughout watching it we had to keep turningThe movie itself was ok but watching at home on t.v was annoying.... So throughout watching it we had to keep turning the volume up and down.... up and down... up and down...
For that reason alone I give it 3 out of 10.
