A guilty pleasure. These guys are defintely buds, and care about one another, but when you've seen one smack into the groin---you've seen them all. I closed my eyes quite a bit.

This is a review from a long time Jackass/Viva la Bam/Wildboyz fan and I've seen pretty much everything these guys have done. That being said, this film did really well. That being said, this film did really well. It didn't surpass my expectations, but I was thoroughly entertained for the most part. Johnny as present as ever, cool callbacks to early Jackass/Wildboyz, new cast members to liven things up, and great production value around the skits and sets. For those that are wondering, no they didn't water down any of the content for this one, It is still as raunchy and crude as previous Jackasses, in fact they might actually take it a little too far sometimes in this one. But overall if you know Jackass, you know what you're gonna get.

Now, on to the tough criticism. For one, nothing here really wowed me like the previous 3. There's nothing as Gnarly as The Fish Hook or Riot Control Test, there's nothing as gross as The Butt Chugg or The Fart Mask, and there's nothing as funny as April's Alligator or Terror Taxi. Most of the skits here just seem like hybrid variations of skits we've seen before. Silence of the Lambs skit just seemed like a less funny combination of Medicine Ball Dodgeball in the Dark and Rattle Snake pit. Triple Wedgie was just a combination of Bungee Wedgie and The Bungee Jump, you see where I'm going. Also I feel like some of the cast were underutilized. Chris Pontius didn't seem to have much of a presence at all in the film. Some of the newer cast members like Eric Manaka and Rachel Wolfson could have had more screen time. Rachel did what? got stung by a scorpion a couple times and licked a tazer.. I feel like she could have done a lot more, like why wasn't she pranked on at all? Hell, they messed with Eric Andre more than Rachel and he's not an official crew member. Also while Jasper had some funny moments I feel like he wasn't used too much either. His father Darkshark was the one stealing the show. I felt like I was just seeing Jasper laughing in the sidelines too much. Poopies and Zachass are great additions though. Another thing, It's TOO short and the ending skit is unsatisfying overall.

I was watching the final skit not knowing it was the last skit just thinking to myself "ok this is a pretty funny one I feel like we're getting close to the end" and then the credits just started rolling... "That's it?" I said. I immediately pulled out my phone to check something...

30 skits. That's how many skits Jackass Forever has. You know how many skits Jackass: The Movie had? 55! And that's when they had a crew of 9, Now they have a crew of 13 and we only get 30 skits? Hell Jackass 3D was torn to pieces about how short it was and it had 46! I feel like too much time was wasted on fooling around and Johnny chasing people with tasers because that's the only thing that will save the skit that fell flat.

Back to the final skit, It's unsatisfying as hell. Just a bunch of unorganized paintball mayhem and explosions go off while 6 of the crew are strapped to a merry-go-round. It's funny, but it didn't really seem like a conclusion to the movie like the previous ones had. Also I didn't stay until the after credits but I didn't see any Rip Taylor memorial. NO LOOMIS?? WTF JACKASS?!? How is it Jackass without Loomis?
Also not enough public prank skits like they use to have, there's like 2 here but something about them seems fabricated.… Expand

The hardest I've laughed in a movie theater in as long as I can remember. Crude, lude, gross, and hilarious. You probably know already if you'll like this or not. For me, it was nostalgic, and an incredible pick me up.

Full disclosure: I enjoyed every episode of the MTV series and all 3 previous movies, so this would seem like a given…and it is. The original crew is back, along with some new talent and a few celebs. The original crew is back, along with some new talent and a few celebs. Fans will enjoy seeing most of the previous cast, while they watch the younger members earn their bruises. There's the usual assortment of wild, crazy stunts that gladly threaten catastrophe and mirthfully inflict pain, although there seems to be more of an obsession with dicks and balls. Some sketches set up more expectation than delivered, esp. the final sequence. Still, those who appreciate the reckless mindset and utter immaturity of this whole endeavor will enjoy more of the same…and maybe the last one.… Expand

I feel like, at this point, you kind of know exactly what you're getting when you watch one of Jeff Tremaine's "Jackass" films, so if you're looking for someone to convince you to see it, my response is simply, "it's taken you this long toI feel like, at this point, you kind of know exactly what you're getting when you watch one of Jeff Tremaine's "Jackass" films, so if you're looking for someone to convince you to see it, my response is simply, "it's taken you this long to seek out what to expect from a 'Jackass' movie?" For me, the bar any one of these films has to clear is, "did I laugh enough?" As expected (and as with all the other "Jackass" films to date), there isn't one bit in this entire piece that didn't have me chuckling at the very least. There's just something so infectiously funny about not only watching these cast members take a hit to the groin or fall to the earth, but seeing their compatriots react to the slapstick in turn. The camaraderie between cast members is what usually comprises the unsung x-factor of every "Jackass" movie for me and "Forever" is no exception. This is an especially impressive feat considering the absence of certain classic cast members and the addition of new ones. Even with these things in mind, I still felt the love and hilarity that's so unique to this brand. Most definitely the hardest I've laughed in a theater in quite some time.… Expand

It's been a good 15 years since I stopped believing Jackass was funny, after all, no matter how absurd and crazy their stunts get, it's just the same thing, over and over again.

There really isn’t too much to say about the Jackass movies. They don’t have a story nor do they have any “characters”. It’s just an hour and a half of silly pranks and I love that. It’s just an hour and a half of silly pranks and I love that. All of these pranks were really funny. Some were better than others but I really enjoyed all of them to an extent. You could hear me audibly laugh and/or cringe at the pranks in the theater and same with everyone else around me. These pranks and sometimes balls to the wall crazy and sometimes are more laid back but how the people react is what sells it. The pranks can definitely be very crude sometimes but that is what makes them funny. My only major complaint is the final prank. The final prank is really funny but it feels a little bit anticlimactic. There were some pranks earlier in the film that you could have out there or maybe even continued the opening stunt from the beginning to make it feel more bombastic. If you can handle very crude humor and visuals then I would recommend checking this out.… Expand

I used to love Jackass, but the concept is tired, the guys are old, the stunts are uninspired. Its more sad to watch a bunch of 50 year olds pushing themselves to be like their 20 year old selves. I just, holy **** man. That movie was one of, if not the best movies I have seen in my life. I swear I have never laughed so hard at something before. This was just what we all needed in a pandemic like this. Everyone in the theater wasI just, holy **** man. That movie was one of, if not the best movies I have seen in my life. "Jackass 4ever" makes an impression that is suffocatingly hilarious and difficult to not look from and refreshes memories from the original characters and composes memories of new characters, that include women.

Too much full frontal male nudity but lots and lots of cringe, scrapes, shocks, gags and laughs. This is the first "jackass" movie I've seen and I never really watched the MTV show, so I was not prepared for all the nudity.

Still think 2 and 3 are overall funnier, but a great movie-going experience. This movie is fun exactly the right level of stupid and sentimental. Plus, normalizing male nudity in film. I don’t know how you mess up a concept as simple as ‘Jackass’ but here we are. Everything is worse than it used to be. It's difficult to rate this as a movie as it's not that format. Should be called "Dumbasses Forever". Hard to believe what these guys were willing to do for money. If you want to watch something that is simple, crude, and fun - then this is the movie for you; there is not much else to say besides that. I wouldn't judge this an ordinary film - it's not. This is a Jackass movie, and that is A-OK with me.

I remember when I watched the first Jackass films, I always thought that those people would lead a difficult life in the future because of all the dangerous challenges they performed. 20 years later they return, but- Review in English -

I remember when I watched the first Jackass films, I always thought that those people would lead a difficult life in the future because of all the dangerous challenges they performed. 20 years later they return, but with steroids and at the same time with a cane. Without a doubt, the nostalgia factor plays an important role in this new film, despite reusing some challenges from the past, they manage to give it a different approach and make them feel quite fresh and innovative. With all this, adding that this has the biggest and most ambitious production of the franchise, not only showing us the results of a joke or a challenge, but also making this an impressive audiovisual show.
You enjoy this film, as well as you suffer it, many use the term "Roller Coaster of emotions" when referring to the sensational quality of a film, however, we also quote it here, but really showing the nature of a roller coaster: fun, terror, nausea and creepiness. He can't leave you silent for a minute because he always manages to impact us in many ways, whether it's forcing us to look the other way, laugh, feel nauseous, etc. My final conclusions regarding this movie are, that it is definitely on another level, that I regret having bought popcorn and that when the movie was over, I went to the bathroom to urinate, I looked at my cock and said it “I love you”.

Recuerdo cuando veía las primeras películas de Jackass, siempre pensaba que aquellas personas llevarían una vida difícil en el futuro por todos los retos peligrosos que realizaban. 20 años después regresan, pero con esteroides y a la misma vez con un bastón. Sin duda que el factor nostalgia juega un papel importante en esta nueva entrega, a pesar de reutilizar algunos retos del pasado, logran darle un enfoque diferente y los hacen sentir bastante frescos e innovadores. Con todo esto, agregándole que esta cuenta con la producción más grande y ambiciosa de la franquicia, no solo mostrándonos los resultados de una broma o un reto, sino lograr que este sea un espectáculo audiovisual impresionante.
Esta película la disfrutas, así como la sufres, muchos utilizan el termino de “Montaña Rusa de emociones” al referirse en la calidad sensacional de una película, sin embargo, aquí también la citamos, pero realmente mostrando la naturaleza de una montaña rusa: diversión, terror, náuseas y repelús. No te puede dejar ningún minuto en silencio porque siempre logra impactarnos de muchas maneras, ya sea obligándonos a mirar a otro lado, carcajearnos, sentir nauseas, etc. Mis conclusiones finales respecto a esta película son que, sin duda, que está a otro nivel, que me arrepiento de haber comprado palomitas y que cuando se terminó la película, fui al baño a orinar, miré mi miembro y le dije “Te quiero”.… Expand

Anyone who knows 'Jackass' pretty much knows what they're getting into at this point, but even I wasn't fully prepared for just how painful this one would be to watch! I feel like my bones are broken just by watching half the stunts that I witnessed in this film, cause believe me when I say that the gang takes it to some all new extremes here. And yes, of course there's also room left for the gross-out stuff as well. But overall, even if you're a die-hard fan of the series, I'd still recommend proceeding into this one with caution, cause you're bound to cringe and gasp plenty of times with just how extreme and painful some of these stunts become. These guys better stop while they're still ahead. And if you're a guy, it'll make you never want to take your groin for granted ever again.… Expand
