This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved it. I curse like a trucker so the title had me- and I thought it would be a good time- but then she had me. Mackenzie is damn good and even though I knew I shouldn't root for her- and would probably not be friends with her in real life- I held my breath a few times and then ooooohed when she got where she needed to be and everything got dreamy in this fancy fancy bathroom and a fancy fancy house and it was soooo pretty that I gasped for her when it all flew away from her. Ultimately I cared for her way more than I expected. Laugh harder than I expected and while there were one or two moments that didnt really land for me - the rest was super worthwhile. and ... the MUSIC! Expand

It's a rare gem: a drama with clear stakes and legitimate laughs. Especially keep an eye out for Carrie Coon to steal the show and be involved in a shockingly powerful acoustic musical number. Mackenzie Davis remains the most under-rated actor of her generation. Expand
