Fairy tales crossover 'Into the Woods' works for around 2/3 of it's running time as a well acted, funny, melodic musical before taking a jarring tonal twist in the final act which felt like a whole different movie.

Into the Woods definitely has it's flaws, mostly due to pacing, but overall, the movie's performances (especially Streep, Corden, and Blunt) make this a solid movie from Disney.

Wobbly plot, confusing morals, and 30 minutes too long. Will leave you and your child with a headache. Every song sounds the same. Would not recommend.

Into the Woods mixes all the favorite stories to make a boring sophisticated musical film. Watching the movie, there are times when you WISH it to come to an end which finally becomes granted after a two-hour endurance.

Worst. Movie. Ever. To say that it crawled is an understatement. My 11-year-old daughter mentioned that she thought it should have ended about 4 times. I wish it had never started. Absolutely TERRIBLE.

Much too long. Lousy music. Couldn't care less about the characters or what happens to them. The visuals and scenery were the only good thing about it. Also, Meryl Streep does a decent job as the witch. Wait 'til this one comes to Netflix.

Cue the negative reviews from people who don't take the time to actually find out what the movie they are going to see is about. Yes, it's a musical. Giving it a negative review solely on the basis of it being a musical is ridiculous.

So boring. A mash up of fairy tales and songs. This is terrible but johnny Depp is beyond bad. He is impersonating a wolf or a pedophile or maybe a wolf- pedophile?

Mindless, aimless, plot points and inane moralizing songs strewn together at random, for what seemed like 4 hours. One of the stupidest movies I've seen in years. Please don't waste your time.

Into the woods is a fresh representation of classic fairy tales, with impeccable performances and a great soundtrack, into the woods is the best musical of the year.

This is one of the best movie version of a Broadway Musical that I have ever seen. Streep proves once again that she is the most talented actress of this generation.

With the charm of Rob Marshall, this musical adaptation stays true to its source work and remains truly devoted to Sondheim. Over time, Into the Woods does lose its way but it is difficult to deny the triumph of Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt.

This movie shows what film was really made for. It takes us through the genres and the art of the world we live in. And just gotta say, most lessons teaches in this film.

This was an incredibly **** movie and it was unbearable to watch. None of the characters had any soul or depth, the music was terrible, loud, and jarring, and the storyline was stupid beyond belief. Definitely do not waste your money or time on this.

Incredibly well crafted transition from stage to film. Incredible casting, beautiful imagery, and paced properly. One of the best musicals of this generation and one of the more enjoyable films of 2014.

The music, acting, scenery, and pretty much everything else was great in this. It gets kinda dark halfway through, but the movie has quite a bit of good humor. It's the best musical film since Les Misérables.

It's theatrical and fun, but the movie really does drag on after a while... like almost any play I don't get the screaming and stupidity, but the production values are really good and the songs are almost tolerable.
