The convoluted and disjointed plot is just a vehicle for Netflix to once again push the lie that anyone who believes in personal liberty or freedom is automatically an evil white supremacist. Because apparently freedom is racist now. Cancel your Netflix accounts, stop giving them money that they’ll just turn around and use to try to strip you of your rights. Expand

This leads to a tiny sci-fi payoff, but most of the movie is simply an uninteresting procedural. Holbrook brings little to the role as his character deteriorates over the decades. The direction lacks much action or excitement. And worst of all, the explanation for the time-travel murders is never fully explained (and hones too closely to the Terminator time travel concept). Slow and lacking any tension…not worth the time it takes to get to the disappointing reveal. (Not to be confused with the documentary of the same name from 2007) Expand

Netlix gone WOKE some time ago and I hope, they will go BROKE soon... So... the outcome and twist ending is predictable, somewhat. Expand

The bad guys ? The whites
The hero ? the black woman
The futur ? white women having children with black guys
The futur super intelligence scientists from the futur ? Indian and black guy (because whites are too dumb to create things and technologies and so on lol)

This si very sad to see how propaganda is killing all the good ideas that exist in cinema nowadays.

I was enjoying the film until very last moment when this 'revelation' came to be. I hate that Netflix became this radical leftist propaganda tool. Not only kill them but also melt their brains out. Leftist ability to justify that scares me more and more. Hope they won't become the cause of future collapse of civilization they predict will come from hands of so called 'white supremacists'. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The acting was ok and the story moved along fairly well. However, when I learned the plot I was turned off by the murdering of people because of their beliefs just to stop a civil war. Sounds more like what a leftest would do. Expand

But the distinctive feature of In the Shadow of the Moon is that the main character is not a traveler. This allows the film to open up and not be like many other films of this genre. In itself, In the Shadow of the Moon, is a classic B-movie from Netflix. Although the action takes place in 4 time intervals, it is absolutely not felt. We can also note a terribly undeveloped ending that destroys the narrative of the whole film. It seems that the script for the film was written by a schoolboy, because to describe the origin of a civil war through a terrorist militia group is the height of idiocy. In the Shadow of the Moon is a boring film that you don't want to recommend even to ardent fans of the genre. Expand
