Summary:
27-year-old Emma (Ana Girardot), an ambitious writer, sets out to write a novel about the lives of sex workers. But to write her novel right, she knows she has to live it. So she becomes a prostitute by getting a job at the renowned Berlin brothel, La Maison. What had been planned as a brief excursion into the red-light milieu leads Emma on an intense journey full of lust, power and danger over the next two years. By diving deeper and deeper into this sensual and forbidden world, she’s able to live out her most intimate fantasies to the fullest, far away from the constraints of society.
