Lady gaga not only delivered one of the best performances I have seen this year but she carries the entire film on her shoulders. She makes you forget she is Lady gaga and all you see is Patrizzia Reggiani. Gaga se come a todos con ferocidad. Ver como Patrizzia se destruye poco a poco es insano y adictivo a la vez. Cuando Gaga falta en escena la serie pierde ritmo e interés.

The biggest drama of 2021. A little too longer, but the cast make your time worthy. Lady Gaga will make some awards from this. She is the heart of the movie, even when the plot leave his character on the fridge to focus on others unnecessary things.

A small flirtation turns into tragic love under the banner of the House of Gucci, steeped in power, intrigue and family troubles. If you don't know the story surrounding the drama, you shouldn't read anything about it beforehand, but watch the film without any knowledge, even if it takes liberties in the narrative.

The movie has some cool and funny moments as well as stylishly shot backgrounds and snazzy music. In addition, the film has some wacky acting interludes and the fake dialect actually sounds okay in the original soundtrack, but sometimes it comes across as too fake. All of this actually fits quite well with this ego-driven and completely crazy world of fashion in the Gucci family.

But from the middle of the film everything is told so quickly, there are always jumps, because the film also wants to pack a lot and it became more and more exhausting over time to still enjoy the bizarre moments. For me personally, that led to the film losing me a bit, becoming less important and the drama no longer really comes into its own. I still think the style of the film is worth seeing, but I have to say that from the middle it loses more and more of its tension and despite the fast-paced narrative, there is a tiring protraction and the drama no longer really unfolds at its climax.

It's really a shame, because the beginning, getting to know each other, etc., was staged very nicely and underlines the film's strengths.

Oh dear WOW. Blown away by Lady Gaga's astounding performance. When you see her in this movie, the Lady Gaga fades away and it's just Patrizia on screen. By comparison, her (also good) American Horror Story character was Lady Gaga as a Vampire Lady Gaga; the breakout ASIB Allie was subdued pre-fame Lady Gaga/Stefani. Damn, she's so magnetic on screen. Story-wise it was quite lacking something... the pace was sometimes too fast... sometimes too slow. But the great performances all over the movie still saves it. I wish we saw more of Pina (Salma Hayek) and of course Paolo (Leto) who made an exceptional performance as well. This isn't for everyone but damn is it a good time.… Expand

Can i say this is the Definitive Movie of real situation drama, Gaga makes her first great audition in Cinema like a drama queen, and Adam Driver makes this movie so emotionally hard to see. Jared Leto makes a heartbreaking dramatic scene when his cousin betray the Gucci Family. And Salma Hayek makes me cry to the end of the movie when Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga) lie to her after kill her husband.

This movie deserved an Oscar for best costume design, best actress, and best drama.… Expand
