The family remained Democrats through the Roosevelt era, however, as the aspect of politics changed we became independents and voted Democrat or Republican based on our desire to vote for the best candidate. Before viewing this movie, I considered myself a fairly decent history buff, that now, is not the case. Last night I received a lesson in history, in fact, a very little-known lesson in history. Obviously, the Democrats cannot change history, those recorded facts that are now being made conspicuously obvious to the American public. No doubt they took pride in introducing Orwell’s “1984” type tactics of, “Who controls the past…controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.” The unmitigated facts, which I learned last night, about the Democrat party, their absolute demand to continue to maintain slavery, was shocking. From the days of Lincoln to the Democrat's use of the Ku Klux Klan to control the black community is simply despicable: a political party, the Democrats introduced the pogrom of the Blacks, after 1864. One has to wonder if Hitler, in 1939, decided to copy the Democrat’s final solution of the Blacks. Yes, it may sound like a horrible thing to say, but I see little difference in attempting to organize the massacre of Blacks or that of the Jews. The difference is that Americans have been successfully ‘1984-ed control of the past,’ into having generations of Blacks and all other races in America believing that the Republicans are and have been at the base, and are responsible for all racism of Blacks (and other races), in America: This is now exposed as a lie. These are facts; not conjectured, and without question, not political propaganda: these are simply the facts. Deny them if you will, but it will, and does not change how perspicuous these unmitigated facts are. Bill and Hillary Clinton are a pair of criminal, political manipulators. Hillary is the master of the Progressive, Machiavellian process, of attempting to turn America into Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged.” The depth of evil Hillary represents to America (in support of her bank account and power structure) makes Saul David Alinsky a mere afterthought. Based on his love of the people in hell, and his wish to become their top organizer (Alinsky, Hillary’s mentor and hero), will lose that honor to Hillary; she became much better at the system. It is not only primarily Hillary America must fear as President, but also, the Democrat Party. The danger these two represent to America has, and is obfuscated by their very duplicitous natures, hidden agendas, and surreptitiousness. Hillary and the Democrats cannot be allowed to control the White House. It does not matter how much you like or dislike Trump, what matters is how much you care about America. No matter how bad you may think Trump is or can be, he can never represent the evil of the lifetime of Democrats subjugation of the Blacks and perniciousness in that of Hillary Rodham Clinton.… Expand

There's not a bit of doubt that the Clinton family are carpetbaggers from the days of old. This movie simply retells what happened. May both Hillary & Bill be taken to task for the Anti-American activities.

First third was slow with somewhat ponderous historic 8th grade level re-enactments, not my thing but I'm glad I hung in there as starting with the New Deal stuff you almost can't look away from this one. Film focused -- among other things -- on historic Democratic Party exploitation of blacks, so much so that it made me wonder if a primary goal was to gain black votes for Nov.

Bill and his Women and the Hillary/Alinsky stuff -- I imagine any liberal who sits through this will put in their earplugs and bury their face in their palms. This stuff will be unwatchable for those folks.

8.5/10 for the aforementioned slow early pace, and because it tried to make me cry at the end. And succeeded… Expand

Brilliant Expose. The Dixicrat Switch is a lie, Clinton is a criminal, Democrats have tanked every city they've controlled for the last 50 to 100 years. D'Souza does a fine job putting it all in one film.

Anyone that thinks they can, please state specifically what's being disputed, and a detailed correction. Iread one person saying that it was all lies because gandhi wasn't a nationalist because stalin and Hitler were. We'll to start with those evil people were national SOCIALIST. Don't conflate the two. They only married the two terms bc they knew socialism alone would fail. Besides that, which I could greatly elaborate on but I digress, it's common knowledge that Gandhi is well know because of his role in leading the Indian nationalist movement and his call for non violent protest. So just because you think you know the facts doesn't mean you do. So anything you disagree with in his films, please take the time to look it up and read the facts for yourself, you'd be surprised how off you were. Then like me, it will trigger a longer search to understand why I was mislead from the truth and what else have I had completely wrong. Don't be ignorant, educate yourself. And don't just rely on someone in a suit and tie, or a doctor's overcoat, or any attire that gives the appearance of intelligence, telling you what the facts are because news flash, people are imperfect they have motivations that may not align with yours. If that was truly an issue, then EVERY Michael Moore film should get a meta-critic score of 2 as well...except, at least this film is based on ACTUAL facts.

The problem of the liberals hating this film is that they've surrounded themselves with those that think like them and now whole-heartedly oppose any other opinion from being expressed. It's fear of being wrong, which they are.

The downplay in reviews are clearly an attempt to suppress free speech, because it's the "wrong" free speech. Go see it and appreciate true freedom.… Expand

Blatant propaganda. This movie, regardless of political preferences, is an embarrassment for this country, our ideals, and our politics. Hilary is an imperfect movie, but the only thing that this movie is perfect at being is flawed.

From a movie stand point, it was shallow. It didn't prove anything, only hoisted itself on opinion.

If you are a die hard republican, thinking your party can do no wrong, and you enjoy your brainwashing... you will probably love this "movie"

Fairly decent documentary, and I have always had a respect for Dinesh films. Despite being a libertarian myself, I have always held quite the dislike for the Democratic party. No real surprise that the Metacritics would rate it as low asFairly decent documentary, and I have always had a respect for Dinesh films. Despite being a libertarian myself, I have always held quite the dislike for the Democratic party. No real surprise that the Metacritics would rate it as low as 2%- after all, their sole job consists of watching movies and berating anything that could possibly contradict their opinions.

I say: Watch the movie. Be you a Democrat, Republican, or any other Independent or third party, watch it. Skepticism lies at the heart of being able to confront those opposing positions. The educated voter is the one which can address all perspectives and understand them in all thoroughness. And if you find something that you may question during the film, write it down and research it afterwards. Give credit where credit is due. Even if you might not necessarily agree with Dinesh, he is most certainly a well-researched and brilliant man.

The only real complaint that I have about the film is that I do feel it tended to stray a bit from the primary topic of "Clinton" and more towards the history of the Democratic party. And while it is relevant, it did take up a massive chunk of the documentary. And even if you agree with the statistics or arguments he provided, I still encourage the viewers to research the topics afterwards just in case.

And in case there is anyone conflicted while watching this documentary, do remember, there is no dishonor in being wrong. The dishonor comes from continuously denying a truth after being proven wrong. So perhaps something will prove you wrong, or perhaps something will not. But again, if you can research the points in full clarity, then you might just learn something more than before you started.… Expand

The filmmaker insults our intelligence by not only being completely inaccurate about Andrew Jackson (to those of us that know American history well), but also by pretending the Dixiecrat voting block did not switch political affiliation en masse over civil rights, largely attributed to the successful efforts of Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond. Disenfranchised Southern voters, post-Civil War, seeped outside of the South into parts of the mountain west, midwest, and southwest after the civil war. There they expanded a rigid culture that, formerly Democratic, still remains Republican red to this day. The 21st century GOP and 21st century Democratic party are the complete opposite of their pre-1900's institutions (1960's in the South). I did give this 2 stars for the slightly comedic aspect of this (mixed with passable film production) and for the fact that Hillary Clinton's motives for the presidency are very likely less than pure. Other than that, it should be viewed as conservative entertainment, but not taken to heart as absolute truth. Which is what I am afraid that some less than educated minds will do.… Expand

I sneaked into this film after attending another, and boy did I get my money's worth.
