This is one of those movies whose trailer doubles as a spoiler. It's like watching Abbott and Costello on steroids; the difference is that 50s comedians DID be funny.

If we already had Jackie Chan with Chris Tucker, Owen Wilson, Johnny Knoxville and Arnold Schwarzenegger, why the hell wouldn't we have him teaming up with John Cena in the most generic action movie imaginable?

The plot is bland, the characters are forgettable, the stakes are incredibly low and the writing is incredibly dumb. The most noticeable problem with this movie that you will notice straight away is the atrocious and ugly CGI. The most noticeable problem with this movie that you will notice straight away is the atrocious and ugly CGI. There is so much CGI in this movie to the point of feeling like it is being overused. It doesn't help how poor the CGI looks with it feeling like CGI from 20 years ago. I like John Cena but he lacks the chemistry that Chris Tucker and Owen Wilson had with Jackie Chan. Nevertheless, there is some fun action choreography from both Jackie Chan and John Cena. Jackie Chan's action scenes is very reminiscent of his older films which were nice to see. It's dumb, shut-your-brain, popcorn entertainment and that is fine to kill time with.… Expand

Inspired by Mad Max but in a more modern setting. The humor is childish. Action is okay and fights are good.
Hoped for more when I saw Jackie Chan but to be fair a crazy performance considering his age.
