A decently entertaining film with good writing. Harry, Ron, and Hermonie can definitely carry a film with just themselves. 68/100

There will be no Quidditch games, Fred and George's shop, love potion problems or even their friends although Neville and Luna appear in small roles. So, "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" is really dark than the previous films and there will be no happy moments. But, the movie will still have some jokes, funny ones to cheer up scenes which are too heart-breaking. Expand

It was totally dark here, a bit of violence changing it into an adult's movie. There wasn't much magic here, just like the previous film

Its Not Talking Place at Hogwarts like the others. I like the atmosphere, much darker, maybe the darkest movie yet. I dont know Why many people disslike it, but for me.

A solid sequel that pushes the story forward with alot of slow parts. The special effects are good and pacing is okay. The actors do a good job also.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is a good movie. Deathly Hallows Part I is the beginning of what the harry potter movie series has been building up to for the last decade.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 is the seventh installment of the popular Harry Potter series, which is shot in two parts. which I think is good, because there was at least enough space to show everything that was needed. The film is very different from previous and especially the first parts. The fairy tale becomes a darker story, which goes to the very end and there is no going back. Here again we can see an excellent story with excellent music and of course our favorite bunch of wizards who are no longer children and have gained a lot of experience over the years to face the villain who has been trying to kill Harry for years.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. My only complaint is that there are several details omitted from the movie and that the storyline is very rushed. I understand that though, the movie would’ve been 6+ hours if they included everything, 9+ if they didn’t rush. Overall good movie, well made. Expand

Fantastic! Magic! Fun! But I feel like Part 2 is 10x better to be absolutely honest.

The narrative delves into the intricacies of loyalty, sacrifice, and the stark realities of a world teetering on the brink of chaos. The pacing effortlessly weaves moments of introspection with bursts of action, allowing the characters' emotional arcs to unfold naturally against a backdrop of mounting challenges.

The music, composed by Alexandre Desplat, lends an evocative and poignant layer to the film. The score complements the narrative's emotional nuances, enhancing the audience's connection to the characters and their journey.
