Forse non ho una sufficiente sensibilità cinematografica per apprezzare la pellicola ma per me questo film è una cagata pazzesca, decisamente il peggiore dei fratelli Coen ma anche per distacco

This might be by far the worst coen brothers movie. Nothing seems to be working here.

Not one of the Coens best films but still well-written and entertaining. Acting is solid.

The film's movie-within-a-movie sequences are undoubtedly some of the best, but too many plot threads are started and resolved all too quickly to make this a resounding film in any one's mind.

When all is said and done, I just didn't get the joke. I never laughed, even once, while watching this "comedy". Everything was just kind of weird and didn't make much sense. Nothing about it was funny; everything about it was boring and weird.

Funny, quirky and a little boring. There is a definitive lack of substance to the various sub-plots too, but taken purely as a comedy it is entertaining enough. Brilliant acting from Brolin & Clooney.

One reviewer said it best for me, the breeziness of the plot is more than made up for by the wit and insight of the production design and sly micro mis-steps. In Deakins' hands you've never seen "breeze" look this good or this beguiling.

Brothers Coen reproduce with ingenuity the tinsel of the golden age of cinema in the 50s; all this and the double moral and hypocresy of the producers and society. The fat cats of the cast makes a remarkable job, even Roger Deakins behind the camera.

Stupid funny comedy. Bust out laughing at some points. Great acting, intriguing story. Another great film from the Coen brothers. Not for everyone but still a good one.

Love the Coen Brothers' humor. Enjoyable performances by Brolin and Clooney. Enjoyed performances by Swinton and Ehrenreich. Watched this on Netflix Instant.

Caeser's problem is that it offers little appeal or even understanding from the non-hollywood crowd, giving it a by-insiders, for-insiders inaccessability.

Great cast, quirky and filled with amusing dialogue, the Coen brothers provide a film that is reasonably enjoyable to watch, but nothing more. It is not the masterpiece it tries to be.

19 years. That's how long I've been a Cohen Bros fan. I like all their movies. Even A Serious Man and their more obscure works. But this film just isn't that funny or that entertaining. It's only slightly so.

A little overrated, but still alright. The best part of this movie was it's great cast ensemble and interesting characters, but other than that, there is not really much to this film. I think even "worth watching" would be an overstatement.

While this is not a Coen Brothers classic it's also far from a dud. This love letter to old Hollywood still has some great dialogue and has terrific performances throughout. B+

Underrated movie, Lots of very clever scenes and a good send-up of old Hollywood.Too bad it slipped under the radar. The Coen Brother always deliver intelligent films.

There is a spectacular film, but it's a good movie. Not to laugh. If you expect to laugh, do not see this movie. If see, wait time to Johansson and Ehrenreich. Oh, if you see because of Clooney, you do not see at all.

Not very good. While Hail, Caesar! had some fun moments I just couldn't find a way to give a **** about any of the characters. I like most of the Coen brother's movies, and their good ones are fantastic, but man they can make a bad movie too.

The movie is not great. The script and story is boring and uninteresting. To give it some credit, part of the movie is funny but not in intellectual level but like clown funny which is disappointing.

Excellent. Great retrospective of and farce about the studio era. There's much to mine if you keep alert with the dialogue and multiple plot lines. A lot of fun.

The only movie ever that rivals Ice Pirates for awfulness. There is literally nothing else to say. What any critic saw in this, I'm not sure. I can only assume they were ashamed to pan a film with Clooney in it.

Overall, the movie is at times amusing but not memorable. Definitely, not one of the best produced by Coen brothers. For people closely familiar with Hollywood it should be a lot of fun though.

This was one of the worst movies I've ever wasted my time watching, Save your money! We actually left during the movie... it was that bad. Thanks Carmike Cinemas for the rain check.

Worst movie I have ever seen. Wish I could get money and time back! Would give a minus rating if that was an option. Whole theatre boo'd at the end. Not worth watching...

Awful waste of time. One of the worst films to start out 2016 with. It goes no where. Don't watch it. It's a waste of money. The reason i made this account. Good day :)
