Not even the 3D gimmicks could save this film from mediocracy. So much of the true story moral lessons are lost and if it was not for the excellent Chris O'Dowd (see also "The IT crowd") it might not have been worth seeing at all.

Very little redeems this movie from the punishing 2-hour running time. Juvenile, disgusting, and completely unfunny. The CG looks good, but there's nothing special.

My 9 year old kid loved this. I thought it was goofy and enjoyable. You want to have a good time with your kid, go see this movie. It's not Merchant Of Venice, but its a lot of fun.

"Gulliver's Travels" is not funny. The story is not funny, Jack Black delivers a decent performance, the depth of the movie is shallow....It is NOT funny.

Surprisingly Gulliver's Travels wasn't very good. Usually a movie with Jack Black is hilarious and good. I guess he didn't get a very good script.

I laughed no more than 2 time during the whole movie. I had high hopes since Jack Black's in it, but I was very dissapointed. Very boring movie, would not recommend it to see.

I didn't expect a very good movie so i wasn't impressed, nor disappointed. Even though the plot is simple and naive, most of the jokes were funny. Plus, Jack Black was hilarious as always.

While not mind-blowing, Gulliver's Travels is still a very funny and enjoyable movie, as long as your into this kind of genre (as in the Jack-Black style of humour).

Okay movie, not great. It has some funny spots but like some has said, I too wasn't impressed. Probably worth your time once but, it's replayability is very low.

First off, I don't know why the official review rating is off; if anything, it should be 57/100, but whatever. I think it deserves at least a 60; it's not hilarious, but it gets the job done, and is a holiday movie you will enjoy.

I've really enjoyed this movie. It's the second time I've seen it now, and some parts really made me laugh. When I saw the metascore, I couldn't believe my eyes. It deserves a much better score in my opinion. Thumbs up for Jack Black!

This is a cool movie. I thought it was funny, even if others did not laugh. In some ways, I think the story of this movie is better than the story of the book. I also prefer this modern story better.

This movie is very stupid but kind of like its so bad it's good. I don't recommend watching this 2010 mess of a movie. Jack Black is a good actor, but in this movie he is just plain dumb.

A movie failure based on the book which is way better than this movie. If you actually read the book, guess what? This movie doesn't contain what it has on the book.

AWFUL
One of the worst film I've seen. Even as a child i couldn't stand it!
And Probably is the worst films based on a book.
How did they make Gulliver's Travels bad?

There is Jack Black in here so of course it was funny, but it also was a big failure to make eudiences entertained and was completely a big joke
