Masterfully edited, and full of humor with plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing and giggling along the way. Great lead performances from Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. The story and thematic elements to this are intricate and not easy to pull off or execute, and David Fincher does it with gripping ease and elegance. It is a great looking movie with an original story and is not afraid to go as far as it can possibly go with its material. Great pacing and a fun watch with a few OMG jaw-dropping moments mixed in.

It doesn't matter how captivating the beginning was or how brilliant the performances were, ultimately it's the conclusion that leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately, Gone Girl fails to deliver at this crucial point.

It all starts off innocently enough, but after a while it becomes a mystery and by the second half it was getting pretty damn interesting for me and I was very interested to see how it would end. I was really pleasantly surprised. It was building up nicely and it was unpredictable for me and I didn't expect it to turn out the way it did. An interesting and at times breathtaking piece of work. For me, a great film that I recommend, especially if you've seen anything by this director and like his mystery flair. Expand

It really brings Gillian Flynns tightly drawn world to life alongside with it's personality. Rosmund os a force to be reckoned with as the sociopathic Amy who after realizing her husband's infidelity and general lack of interest causes her to do the unthinkable. Watching the story unravel as the 1st half of the film points towards the obvious before the second half rips the mat from under you. Ben Affleck isn't so bad as the grubby ,mediocre but framed husband. He is subtle in this role ,conveying a lot with just a his detached face. This is a really enjoyable psychological thriller. Fincher directs with his usual superb class, giving the film great style and keeping the story alive(Gone Girl is easily one of the year's best directed films), and the whole film looks absolutely great with brooding lighting that evokes the creepy atmosphere brilliantly and Gone Girl is also a film that makes good use of digital, after seeing many directors over-using or cheapening it it was refreshing to see the technique done with taste. Trent Rezner and Atticus Ross's music score gives the film a haunting vibe and adds much to the unsettling intensity that a lot of the film(at least two-thirds worth), managing to not do it in an in-your-face manner. The use of sound mixing was interesting and came off cleverly, almost like a distant thought process. Gone Girl also has a brilliantly written and adapted script that does a great job balancing dark humour- that's not overused and is often hilarious- and suspense mystery (The Cool Girl monologue in particular is a masterpiece of script-writing, one of my favourite film monologues ever), while the story(apart from taking a bit of time to get starting) is absorbing from start to finish, rich in detail and characterisation and is filled with shocks and unpredictable twists that will be guaranteed to leave you reeling. That it is adapted from superb source material(one of the best books I've read in recent memory actually) helps it, and that it is faithful to it is commendable, a case of being faithful to the source material actually coming off wonders rather than being bogged down by being too faithful. The not-what-they-seem characters are incredibly interesting and richly developed, especially Amy who is one of the most chilling female characters of the year. And the acting is one of the high points of the film, as good as Fincher's direction and the score are it's Rosamund Pike's knockout turn as Amy in restrained- she only has to raise an eyebrow or something like that and it says a lot- but quite terrifying mode(especially in the third act) that makes the film. It will be a great surprise if she isn't at least nominated because it is easily her best performance. Ben Affleck has the other not-what-they-seem role and plays it with oozing charm and brooding intensity, while Neil Patrick Harris surprisingly excels in a very against-type role(who knew he could be sinister?) and Tyler Perry oozes charisma and is very funny. Carrie Coon is the standout in support, it's a tricky role and the moral compass of the film but Coon is touchingly likable in it. The ending does for my liking end too suddenly and the storytelling got implausible and lazy at this point, but apart from that Gone Girl was a winner and one of the best of the year. 9/10 Bethany Cox Expand

Ben Affleck is Nick Dunne has returned home and as he went home, he found his wife, Amy played by the lovely Rosamund Pike, missing. As his flashbacks go on when he first met Amy, Nick is being accused of murdering his wife, Well, you can learn that it's not scandalous just like other cinematography from David Fincher to film. There are no words to describe how great this film is. Rosamund Pike did a fantastic performance along with Ben Affleck and the other cast. The writing is great and the directing style is impressive too. You can't really go wrong. It is a fantastic film with a plot twist at the end even though I'm not going to spoil it. But if it's anything having to do with this, is that it got me and you on the edge of our seats. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If this review were boiled down to two words “depraved bulls--t” would be it. This review covers both the book & the movie as well as the social media storm that was kicked up by both. I spotted several posts on "Gone Girl" while on YouTube w titles like "Why we all admire Amy" & "Why you root for Amy Dunne" placed alongside a post on YouTube's "Analyzing Evil" series where Amy was mentioned among such evil heavyweights like Anton Chigurh & Michael Corleone. That was quite the spread.

Intrigued, I picked up the DVD expecting a story about a put upon a woman who outdoes an abusive husband, but then, less the book's internal monologues the movie's polarizing effect kicks in. Amy reveals herself as a wacko with Munchausen's syndrome. The movie at this point still made sense; Nick was an insensitive lout & Amy a ticking time bomb. She devises a plan where she disappears & through carefully planted evidence implicates her husband with her murder.

Then the movie began to get flaky. A whole slew of unbelievable plot twists follow.

Amy retracts her disappearance/murder plan (she had to after she was robbed of her cruise money). She rapidly comes up with an alternate plan where she hooks up with an ex-boyfriend (who I believe was watching the news…yet he did not question the legal consequences obsessed puppy that he was) &, after considering wheedling escape money from him, decides...after hearing Nick apologize on TV....to murder him mid-orgasm via slashing his throat & make it look like he was raping her via self-mutilation (makes sense, huh?). A truly desperate & despicable act that should have been her undoing. But no, the movie/book juggernaut continues... The fact that she returns home all bloodied up for the press (how did they get there? Is the press supposed to believe that a woman in her apparent mental state could methodically orchestrate a media event!?) all that plus the fact that the FBI did not confiscate Amy's bloodied blouse or run a forensic examination on her but let her return home with it put the story beyond belief. OK, she was on meds, Fed procedure; you hold her in the hospital pending further questioning.

With this stretch, the movie veers off into "Basic Instinct" territory with the entire set of FBI agents huddled at the far end of the room like they were afraid of asking hard questions. It took a local law enforcement figure (a detective Boney, who was on the case from the beginning) to at least attempt a few questions about her "rape chronicles" diary about Nick & why given all that was she so happy to be back in her tormentor's arms. She got hushed up by the Feds because this is Gillian Flynn's world where everything is sh-t & sunshine is not permitted.

Also, the fertility clinic did not bear out that she was inseminated by them, claiming that they dumped Nick's sperm. This contradiction puzzled me but whatever she got a hold of Nick's j--z (hypothetical dialect; "I'll take this & inseminate myself in the ladies room THANK YOU VERY MUCH"). ALSO, sperm has a shelf life of 15 minutes. Not believable. OK (we swallow hard with the last detail....NO SPITTING PLEASE), so... she keeps up her game with Nick by telling him she was impregnated. This after she tries to get him into the sack with her (just the thing one wants to do after telling the press you were imprisoned by a crazed ex-boyfriend; NOT BELIEVABLE).

Finally, I believe that Nick was sincere when he told his sister he had responsibility for the child. For once Nick had the moral upper hand saying this but let us not kid ourselves about Amy. In the sarcastic way she said "That's marriage" there's no doubt that she was going to continue to manipulate everybody in arms reach to preserve control. That unfortunately would include the kid. In the end, Amy had no cards left to dupe Nick or anyone w/in Nick's family. Unfortunately, she certainly had a full deck with the media. A way unlikely end to a pointless & depressing movie. Nick wasn't looking to "win" he was looking to reconcile. Then he got wind of what Amy did to Desi, but Amy didn't need to repent didn't she? Gillian Flynn could have generated a better drama by humanizing Amy in having her get nailed by Detective Boney & the FBI. Instead, she greased Amy's exit in a manner that was both unrealistic & infuriating.

This brings me back to the YouTube posts put up by Amy's cheerleaders that show a willingness to promote this piece of cinematic poison as a rallying point. At first blush the movie seems male misogynistic, which would give Amy a "hero" status. However, after watching, reading (Yes, I did this in reverse order) & digesting this brick of a book & mess of a movie was there ANYTHING sympathetic about her? She was a complete & wildly improbable monster. No, this movie was FEMALE misogynistic. Yet you have deluded "fans" who present her as a role model.
RATING BREAKDOWN: The book *** The movie **

ANTIDOTE MOVIES: "Bunny Lake is missing", "Repulsion"

Let's just say it didn't quite go the way I expected but I was intrigued the whole time. The acting was great. Gone Girl is a thrilling and emotionally jarring piece of cinema that subverts the romance and crime genres into a more modern and bleaker world. The film is also one of the first to explore the impact that “fake news” and rhetorically driven pundits have on society. While these elements are present in the book from which the film is adapted, Fincher takes them and throws them under the magnifying glass. The most remarkable thing about the movie, however, is that Tyler Perry, of noted Medea fame, gives a great performance. All players give great performances. Affleck likely giving the best of his career so far. Gone Girl is so insanely purposeful with all its elements that it feels as if the viewer is watching a real news story unfold. At times the movie is manipulative, but it does so admittingly and in a manner that is simultaneously thematically and socially driven. Fincher works excellently with crime subjects. Pieces like Se7en and Gone Girl show that he understands the genre as it currently exists and as it will exist in the future. Gone Girl starts with a steady gallop, but once it gets going it never stops until it gets right back where it started. In a way, the end is built into the beginning, but the middle gives context to the end. Expand

I didn't actually check the Gone Girl score before watching it but decided to come back and check here after the fact. The shock of finding it had received universal acclaim is far more surprising than any twists found in this awful movie. Even suspending disbelief to enjoy some of the wildly implausible aspects of the plot (and there are MANY to choose from), there are ridiculous 180-degree character shifts that occur with nearly no explanation, development or understanding in order to propel this train wreck into the station. Ben Affleck is cast perfectly as the unfaithful husband as it usually doesn't take more than a single frame to make Ben Affleck unlikable (I kid!) but he's hardly to blame here. The screenplay is loaded with cringe worthy clunkers that do nothing to help this long winded story get anywhere fast. It will be interesting to see how time remembers this one and if it will age well. Girl, next time just stay gone. Expand

It's honestly a movie that will somehow keep you on the edge of your seat for it's impressive three hour runtime. In my opinion, this is David Fincher's best work as a director. Every shot is immaculate. The soundtrack is tense. Every performance is too real. The story, written by Gillian Flynn (the author of the novel this movie is based on) is filled with twists and turns, and will have you guessing and leave you shocked with every development until the very end. The ending of this movie is so satisfying and shocking, and I won't spoil anything about it!

Gone Girl is a very cleverly done meta of a film. At it's core, this is a movie about secrets, manipulation, lies, and ultimately a conflict between men, women, and how relationships are perceived by society vs. how relationships actually are. The performances by Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike are jaw dropping. Easily their best work. Carrie Coon is incredible as always, and even Tyler Perry busts out some great acting chops.

This is a must-see movie. If you like mysteries or thrillers or good acting or a good script, you need to see this movie!

Personally I found the first half of the movie intriguing in the way it gradually begins to cast doubts on Nick innocence and keeps the audience guessing as to what actually happened. After the “reveal” takes place however Gone Girl did start to run out of steam a little and I found my interest starting to wane as it reached its climax. Worth watching but this could easily have been 20-30 minutes shorter than its two and a half hour running time.

“Gone Girl” is a psychological thriller directed by David Fincher.

Honestly, I have decided to see the film just because the director is David Fincher. He has his own very distinctive style, and even if you have seen only one of his movies, you will immediately recognize Fincher's work in “Gone Girl”.

The plot is fast moving and absorbing, compels viewers to follow the chain of events. By the way, the screenplay based on a novel of the same name written by Gillian Flynn, who also wrote the script.

Turning back to the film, the day of his 5th anniversary, Nick Dunne (by Ben Affleck) returns home and finds his wife Amy (by Rosamund Pike) is missing. Of course, he goes to the police, then calls her parents. After all, the mass media covers the disappearance of Amy. Day by day the influence of the press on Nick's life is rising. Meanwhile, we find out the details of daily life of the couple which make us change our mind over Nick. Did he kill his wife? All evidences give us broad hints about it.

Whereas, Nick convinces his sister in his innocence and tries to prove it to everyone else, it turns out that the disappearance of Amy was committed by .. Amy. But no one knows it yet.
Will someone reveal the truth?

To find out the answer you must see the movie.
You will have no regrets after all! The film is absolutely worth of watching!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Normally I wold write a review with some build up to the ending but the ending of this movie was so incoherent as to make me wish I had been drunk at the end instead of cold stone sober. At least then I could have forgotten about it and moved on just a hangover. Ben Affleck's portrayal is (I assume) supposed to be an idiot or the movie wouldn't have gotten as far as it did. I'm glad i watched it at home but it was at my wife's suggestion. Just completely implausible at the end. What a waste of 2 1/2 hours of my life.

In short, an insult to any thinking person's intelligence.

(Spoiler alert ... like this movie could be spoiled any more than it was by the writing, acting and directing)... So you slice open someone's throat and wait until you get to the house to take a shower? The last 30 minutes was nearly impossible to watch without laughing.

As you can probably see I enjoyed it, a lot, I enjoyed it because it is such a complex and interesting movie, during its longevity you never feel bored, you never feel like you're watching useless entertainment, this movie is able to be brutal, thrilling, dramatic, and able to provoke all sorts of other feelings on you.
Now let's talk about the elements of the film, the acting was top-notch, amazing performances from Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike and of course all the other actors did an amazing job, like for instance Neil Patrick Harris did a great job and even Tyler Perry feels authentic and great. The way this film is shot is amazing, every frame is filled with information and detail, the soundtrack while not the most extravagant manages to be captivating and unique, David Fincher did an amazing job, his films feel like distinct universes and different realities than ours because of the uniqueness and complexity of the situations we see in his movies, kudos for all of this.
The plot is amazing, it's awesomely complex and so interesting, it manages to gather so many different themes in one storyline while making it feel very natural and realistic, the brutality in this film, the violence, the pressure, these are all elements that come in to make the film feel darker and darker as we go along, and damn, it's a hell of a ride.
The only downside that I find in this movie is the ending, I am not saying I dislike open endings but I feel like if we got a solid ending we would be more satisfied, as the movie takes most of it's time during the second act, it leaves the third act with less time than it should have had, this time could be used to develop the ending in a more solid ways, as it feels like some parts of it were chopped of for time's sake.
Ultimately I absolutely recommend everyone to go and watch this movie, it's a true masterpiece of today's cinema and the reason why I like movies so much, because this ain't just movie, this is an experience.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I will start saying that this movie deserves to be watched. First 2/3 are really good. But then the end kinda ruins it.

Now the spoilers...
It all begins when Gone Girl drops a bag full of cash (in a very stupid scene) and gets herself robbed, pushing her to call a friend for help. Then he takes her to a house full of cameras, where she makes a very lame scene pretending to be mistreated in front of a glass door that she could easily break and escape. Not to mention the cameras would definitely show her arriving to the house not as a prisoner. Anyway, the FBI believes her with no investigation after she kills the guy and claims self defense. Absurd much? Finally, she gets pregnant from some old frozen sperm and uses that to get the husband not to leave her. Again, an aggression to logic.

If the writer wanted her to triumph at the end, she should have thought of a better way to do it because this awful, full of holes, ending doesn't work. It's a shame because the movie deserved more than that.

Fincher is the master of the slow burn, and he achieves it with this film. Those who have read the book will be satisfied with this adaptation, as it stays almost completely true to the source material, and when it deviates from the book there is an intended purpose that elevates the movie even higher. No spoilers, but when the big secret is revealed, I like how it is revealed halfway rather than the end, because the viewer feels more connected to the story if we know what is really going on. Gone Girl is a very nice twisty, turny film from David Fincher. I liked this one quite a lot more that the overlong Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Rosamund Pike's performance also deserves a nod in particular for being memorable.

The director really did a poor job on this one, there is so many little things (discrepancies) that they didn't catch, it's just plain bad. Afleck does his usual, enough to get by acting, but it goes downhill fast after that. Doogie Hauser...... sheesh!!!!.... who cast this guy? He sounds so rehearsed a robots got more character than he does. Loved the end, you kill a guy and you are covered in blood, you go to the hospital, where they put you in a gown, upon release you ham it up for the media ( no blood is visible on face, and arms, or hands), then when you go home you take the gown off , and wash all the blood off your body in the shower....... do what????? The movie does have a couple of interesting twists, but most of it is just plain stupid. Expand

Oscura, siniestra, intrigante, toda la marca de David Fincher sin duda, y lo mejor es que con los giros inesperados de la trama saca lo mejor de Rosamund Pike y Ben Affleck por igual.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I saw Gone Girl when I was home for a week last Halloween, a time during which I was watching a combination of old James Bond films and schlocky slashers like Scream (1996) and Freddy vs. Jason (2003) all films which are more cheesy than scary. During my one trip to the cinema that week, Gone Girl was the film which kept me on the edge of my seat. It was a real thriller with horrifying scenes making it almost a horror film itself.

I’m not going to spoil details of a plot which works best as a mystery, but the premise is that Midwestern everyman Nick Dunne (Ben Afflek) returns home one day (his fifth wedding anniversary no less) to find his glamorous wife Amy (Rosamund Pike) missing. The ensuing media circus then throws Nick into suspicion.

The film’s strength is its manipulation of the viewer. We follow and side with Nick initially; Ben Afflek plays him as fairly neutral, a blank slate. Maybe he’s too passive in the face of his wife’s disappearance. Is he guilty or does he simply not know how to react? He seems likeable enough, but there’s something just behind it.

During the first act the couple’s relationship is told through flashbacks, incorporating segments of Amy’s diary, and we gradually begin to side with her. These dual narrative strands are apparently from the original wildly popular novel by Gillian Flynn, who wrote the screenplay. We must be in safe hands.

David Fincher, whose last film was the English-language remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, retains something of the Nordic noir to Gone Girl. The film is full of darkness, sex and violence. Camera angles are sweeping and the scenery both bleak and beautiful. At the heart of the film is an exploration of humanity which is divisive and ambiguous.

Though a long film, it is never boring. There was a point around halfway through when some kind of resolution seems to have been reached, but the film keeps going and the pace and intensity increases. Rosamund Pike’s role increases as the story progresses and without giving too much away, her performance is powerful.

Role and image are major themes. On some level, everyone is playing a part, deliberately projecting or hiding behind a facade. Amy has been fictionalised by her writer parents in the overblown, saccharine Amazing Amy books which she has never been able to live up to. She has a place in the public eye and this is why the press descends so rapidly on the case.

As the audience struggles to understand his psyche, Nick is struggling to appease the exploitative media. He hires Tanner Bolt (Tyler Perry), a lawyer specialising in image and defending suspected husbands. Perry’s role is dramatic but played with a much needed balancing touch of humour. Of note too is Neil Patrick Harris’s rare straight role as Amy’s ex-boyfriend Desi.

The music, from serene yet ominous ambient soundscapes to throbbing electronica was composed by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and his producer Atticus Ross who have collaborated on Fincher’s last two films. In keeping with the theses of this film, they have created a score which is simultaneously soothing and unnerving.

I’ll finish by acknowledging that there are some plot holes in the decidedly complicated narrative, particularly paper trails, alibis and the possible existence of exonerating security footage. Again, I won’t go into too much detail, but at one point a detective begins to question such a hole but is quickly shot down.

Presumably these details would come to light sometime later during the inevitable long investigation. The case ends far from closed. But the film is more than just the plot, which is nevertheless engaging. As a piece of film making, the themes, music and visuals remain powerful.

Early every autumn, there's one excellent studio movie released - a way to kick off the Oscar race and remind adult viewers that it's still possible to find intelligent, compelling movies in theaters. In 2014, that film is Gone Girl, GillianEarly every autumn, there's one excellent studio movie released - a way to kick off the Oscar race and remind adult viewers that it's still possible to find intelligent, compelling movies in theaters. In 2014, that film is Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn's adaptation of her own best-selling novel brought to the screen under the capable guidance of A-list director David Fincher. Fincher, who's no stranger to dark material (Seven and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo being examples), understands how to get the most out of Gone Girl and the result is 145 minutes of riveting drama and surprises. And, although the movie doesn't represent a page-by-page recreation of the book, it captures key aspects including multiple (sometimes unreliable) narrative perspectives, commentary on what "guilt" and "popularity" mean in today's media-saturated culture, and (of course) a Hitchcock-tilted storyline seeded with twists and turns.

This review will steer as clear as possible from spoilers but, if you haven't read the novel, you may want to stop here. The more fresh the experience, the better. Even a stripped-down synopsis of the premise could inadvertently give away things the uninitiated viewer might prefer to discover on his or her own. (Those who are familiar with the book are safe because, although there are some changes, the overall arc tracks closely to that of the novel, which is what one would expect when the author is also the screenwriter.)

If there's an overriding theme in Gone Girl, it's one of manipulation. Characters manipulate other characters. The media manipulates how the public thinks and lawyers and victims manipulate the media. Fincher isn't telling us anything new but he's reminding us how little concepts like "guilt" and "innocence" mean in the court of public opinion when the facts are twisted, handled, and withheld to make the story more compelling.

It can be difficult for any film to get two key aspects of Gone Girl right: unreliable narration and multiple perspectives. One need look no further than The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby to understand how a director's intentions aren't always conveyed. With Gone Girl, however, Fincher succeeds against all odds. By the time the end credits roll, we have a clear picture of what did (and didn't) transpire.

By intention, Gone Girl feels like two different movies grafted together. The first half is more cerebral and closer to a police procedural. Nick jokingly refers to an episode of Law & Order and there's some truth to the comparison, although the movie is crafted at a higher level than the write-by-numbers standards of a weekly TV series. The Basic Instinct similarities are amplified during the second half which features a wealth of lurid material. There are some minor pacing issues toward the very end when the movie perhaps overstays its welcome by a few minutes.

Even the best thrillers often follow predictable trajectories regardless of how many narrative switchbacks and red herrings they employ. Although some of what happens in Gone Girl is expected, the progression of the storyline is at times so inventive that it doesn't matter whether all the traditional surprises work. Fincher and Flynn recognize they're not going to be able to shock viewers with every twist so they allow us to guess some things in order to keep others hidden. Gone Girl is a rare movie: a delicious thriller that provides plenty of titillation and gruesome pleasure while offering a dollop of social commentary. It's smart, twisted, bloody, and almost guaranteed to satisfy anyone with a penchant for the macabre.

A thoroughly entertaining and thoughtful film. Twisted, enough so to make your stomach turn a few times, and inventive, but also timely.

There are dramatic conceits to be sure, but anyone who thinks that a woman can't be this crazy hasn't been following the news. Far from being misogynistic, if anything it's hard on men, portraying Nick as a loser who can't control his sex drive and the rest of the movie's men as being dupes and fools. The women, conversely, range from the titular Machiavellian **** from Hell to Nick's loyal twin sister, the one genuinely competent police officer, the predatory ratings-driven talk show host, the innocent coed, and yes, a variety of dupes and fools as well. If any film has attacked gender politics more smartly and more fairly, I've not seen it.

And it makes for a thrilling ride. An audience desensitized to violence will likely be upset by some of the scenes. Piercing cultural critiques and sarcastically written laugh lines alternate with disturbing plot twists. And how often can you say "man, Tyler Perry was perfect in that role"? I wish they had held the main plot twist a bit longer, and, like the book, alternated more into the titular character's perspective, but despite these narrative shortcomings, the movie we did get is well worth watching.

It's steamy, it's sexy, gory and psychotic, all mashed together with mixed emotions. We can all agree that the 'overrated' director David Fincher does that perfectly in his films, in this film fits the bill perfectly. Best-selling author Gillian Flynn's debut as a screenwriter is just chilling and effected craft. We have Ben Affleck playing a desperate dick husband, he tries to make the media and everyone us believe that he did not kill his wife (or had anything else to do with the disappearance). Rosamund Pike is even slightly better than Affleck's character. Kim Dickens character was really amusing as the detective. Carrie Coon's character "Margo" was had a good comedic presence to the screen, but at times the stuff she says sometimes can be at the wrong time so that's what i guess. I am not sure if this film is gonna impact Perry's career, but it'll get the guy a better role. Neil Patrick Harris' character is awkward and lovely at times. But the ending is stupid! Did I manage to somehow find only the first half of this clearly unfinished movie? I find that doubtful, considering the movie was almost two and a half hours long. The first half of the movie was extremely exciting, because I was anxiously waiting for a series of interesting events to occur. However, with each minute that passed, I began to realize that there is no climax to this story, no conclusion, and no elements to relieve the tension in the buildup of the storyline. Watching this movie to completion is very similar to getting "blue balls," for those of you who have experienced that scenario. You sit there, waiting, anticipating the epic plot twist that brings the story to its clever, dramatic conclusion. But instead, the movie just sort of... ends. All the unanswered questions remain unanswered. Additionally, new questions arise, such as "Did the person who wrote this movie's storyline die halfway through writing?" and "How did over 800 people on this website get brainwashed into thinking this movie was complete?" If you have not seen this film yet, I do not recommend it. You are better off watching just about anything else. There are movies you could find that are just as disappointing and waste less of your time. Expand
