This film more than makes up for some slightly-boring melodrama in the middle by having some of the best battle scenes and action sequences I have seen in a long time, particularly towards the last hour or so of the film. There is a lot to praise here, including some pretty memorable performances from many of the lead cast, and I'm a total sucker for battle scenes that put an emphasis on strategy and tactics. If what I have said sounds up your street you should check this one out!… Expand

a disgrace to the god of war franchise!! Absolutely 0 redeeming qualities!! the best thing that can be said about this movie is that if you search for god of war, you will find the ps4 game, one of the best games of all time. What a waste of a name. If there is one good thing the Chinese are good at it would be stealing and copyright infringement. This is a horrible waste of the user name God of War.
