Pretty good film with good acting and music though its a bit anticlimactic.

Well, "Gallipoli" isn't terrible, but it is not terrific. It does have some really good powerful acting at times, but I honestly did not like the soundtrack one bit. The design of the film is pretty bad too.

Really good film. The acting is great throughout and the direction is phenomenal. It is as tragic as one might expect and certainly leaves you wondering about the point of war and if allowing these young men to do actually has some kind ofReally good film. Accessible, taking into consideration my lack of knowledge of the events unfolding on screen, though its strengths lie more in the visual and musical work.

Impressive, just not spectacular as I'd heard.

OK, this is 1915 and communications are almost nonexistent on the battlefield so mistakes are made and men become cannon fodder.
