I lost my time! A long movie whose sole purpose is to enhance the ego of a popstar. Is there anything more cliché than this? Now I understand the whole marketing strategy wrapping the name of Madonna: the movie is a fraud

I expected more, perhaps because over the course of Lady Gaga's career she spoke so much about her social responsibility ... and in this film the only thing I saw was concern for herself. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Extremely fake. Lady Gaga seems to be trying to cry during the whole movie in order to make people feel pity of her and to look good on camera.
I'd like to highlight a few moments:

- She cries at the christening of a son of a member of her band. The child's parents and the whole church are happy. It looked like Gaga was trying to cry for the movie

- She cries for the death of her aunt who died 10 years before she was born and her grandmother say to Gaga "Get over it. It happened 40 years ago". Joanne's mother fortunately could live with her daughter's death but the niece Gaga (who didn't know Joanne) cannot stop crying while playing the song. This is... weird

I wanted to see sincerity, but all I saw was Lady Gaga trying to make people feel sorry for her.… Expand

Chato, previsivel e clichê, como tudo que essa mulher fez nos ultimos 6 anos. Boa parte das pessoas viram para saber o que ela falou da madonna, só isso!
