Summary: In the midst of a mid-life crisis, Walter, after cheating on his wife and trying to dump his millennial girlfriend, decides to reconnect with his daughter Nic by inviting himself to stay with her in Big Sur. Nic asks him to give a ride to Kim, who is going through a quarter-life crisis of her own including her car breaking down. He agrees and along the way there, the unlikely duo bond in unexpected ways that set off a chain of events, ruining the lives of those in their path. FUNNY STORY shows both the strength of narcissism and the healing power of forgiveness.
