Just re-watched it again and I had forgotten how much charm and absolute brilliance is contained within it. So many memorable, obscene and surreal scenes. Anders Thomas Jensen took a Morten Korch script and turned all knobs to 11. Then he arrived at Flickering Lights.

The absurdities hit you like a sledgehammer. It's so crazy that it wraps around and starts to make sense. It's highly entertaining and has a surreal emotional depth to it. This is not just a comedy or an obscene action movie. It has something to say in its own right. Whoever we are - whatever pasts we left behind. There's redemption for all of us in the most unlikely of places, as long as we do our best to get there.

I was laughing and crying throughout. This is one of my favorite movies.… Expand

A very funny, jet sometimes serious and sad movie, that shows how good Jensen is as an director and writer. It is a must see for fans of the genre and movie lovers in general.
