Awesome. Just saw this movie in Portland Oregon. It opens in NYC on February 10th. Telling all my NYC friends to check this out. It's hilarious and painfullly sad all at once. Brilliant.

Film Geek is a damned good movie. It was a little more racy than I thought it would be (don't bring the young kids), but it was well worth the price of the ticket and worth seeing more than once. Very good movie. The direction, writing, and acting are all excellent. It's funny and sad at the same time. I actually cried.

Film Geek is such a cool movie. I laughed, I cried and in the end I just wanted to go straight back to the theater and see it all over again. Definitely worth checking out wether your a film geek or you just love to see fun and touching movies.

I loved film Geek! It's a Napolean Dynamite for grown ups and with a twist. I've already seen it 3 times since it came out in Portland. I can't wait for it to be released on DVD!

I knew nothing about this movie until my parents drug me out of bed on a groggy sunday afternoon. I was pleasently surprised at how good this movie was and thought it was cool that it was filmed in so many areas in Portland that I I knew nothing about this movie until my parents drug me out of bed on a groggy sunday afternoon. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I forgot this movie even existed. It’s kind of like the Brazil of lonely, socially awkward people movies. It’s pretty decent considering it’s budget and its ending (sort of) fixes it’s problematic objectification of women.… Expand
