This Ferris Bueller's Day Off rip-off is bought us from the producer of terrible movies such as Wild Hogs and... drum roll... Norbit. As soon as I saw his name in the credits, I knew I was going to find such a negative flaw about it. LeaveThis Ferris Bueller's Day Off rip-off is bought us from the producer of terrible movies such as Wild Hogs and... drum roll... Norbit. As soon as I saw his name in the credits, I knew I was going to find such a negative flaw about it. Leave all of that lying, cool-looking luck to Ferris Bueller. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When watching the first 10 minutes of Expelled, you start to notice that the main character talks in first and third person, and that is one of the many reasons why Expelled just doesn't WORK. The characters are not well-developed, and the acting is not even average. Cameron Dallas doesn't show any range here, he just mostly acts like your stereotypical cocky kid at your average school. He ends up being an annoyance up to halfway and you start to care less and less about the main character, Felix. All of the other actors do not have enough show time to show any real significance, or development. The story writing is on the story of film school student level, and it is based off an entire main idea the entire movie: Felix hiding his expulsion from his parents. There is no surprise twist to make the movie seem more interesting, and in the end you get a cliche. Felix tells his parents and they forgive him, and done. I feel like there is more better movies/shows from the world of social media, such as Camp Takota or Video Game High School. The story is half-baked here, the acting is barely passing, and overall the movie in itself is a waste of your time. Expand
