So long as you like Andrew Lloyd Webber, you'll love this film. Madonna (in probably her best role to date) and Antonia Banderas give great performances, and there are some epic-scale scenes.

This movie is one of the best musical movies i've evers seen. The combination between a good story good music and good actors... What more can you wish fore? This is a piece of history combined with music.. This is art at it highest form.

its a masterpiece and so Good.. i cried i kaughed. i sang.. i danced.. Madonna IS EVITA... she deserved an Oscar for it... i will watch it again many more times... with this pamdemic it allows us to see musicals in new ways... a must see

A crítica foi totalmente parcial na época. Desacreditaram Madonna e a produção independente do filme, até Banderas sofreu com isso. Mas é um filme muito bom e ainda hoje interessante de se ver. Um dos melhores musicais já feitos no cinema.

Let's be honest: Madonna's contribution to cinema is somewhat laughable! But Evita is the proof that she can be great at it. An amazing and moving performance, with legendary songs! A classic.
