If you canA teenage girl falls for a "soul" who inhabits a different body every day. To maintain their relationship, she spends the movie chasing after the variety of incarnations (male and female, but always in her area and around her age). If you can accept the premise of this YA novel, you may be able to enjoy this straight-up adolescent chick flick (with the inevitable messages about inclusion and true love). The performances are sufficiently interesting, even though the dialogue and situations are standard fare. One good thing about the casting: at least most of the high schoolers look like teens, instead of adult actors ten years older. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. While Angourie Rice and the rest of the cast playing A did an astounding job portraying the characters, Jesse Andrew's screenplay oversimplified the original story to the extent that the story lost its basic principle of A being not able to stay in one body for more than a day. The film only delves into the themes of sexuality and gender superficially with no depth and the story just feels flat and uninspiring. Michael Scuscy, being the director, paced each day adequately enough to engage the audience, but the transitions between each day feels uneven. A flashback and a flash-forward scenes in the film feel rather off the balance when Suscy could have only focused the frame on the conversation between A and Rhiannon since the cast is more than capable of delivering lines that are emotionally compelling. Overall the film feels like a run-down of people doing things with emotions but without a cohesive story. The film's marketing campaign is targeted for females from 13-24 and the LGBT community, which is probably why they simplified it to make it look cute, but the final product is simply unsatisfying. That being said, the film is filmed in mere 26 days and only took 8 months to be released, therefore, mishaps are understandable. Expand

Although irremediably it seems to me that this was a good premise wasted on a narrative that it's too juvenile and also things get too complicated in the face of its lack of answers, I personally believe that it wasn't really disappointing.Although irremediably it seems to me that this was a good premise wasted on a narrative that it's too juvenile and also things get too complicated in the face of its lack of answers, I personally believe that it wasn't really disappointing.

The most serious problems that faces is the emotional manipulation to which it resorts several times and the incredibly empty resolution. The rest is as basic as exclusive of tons of romantic teen comedies.

The young Angourie Rice does a good job, we will have to wait and see if in the future she will get more challanging roles.
