Well thought out day-in-a-life movie that closely depicts some aspects of Japanese culture through European humor.

I really wonder how this movie can get such positive reviews. This must be the most boring and
pointless thing I have watched in a very long time. The camera is all over the place, they should have
hired a monkey to hold it more steady.
I really wonder how this movie can get such positive reviews. This must be the most boring and
pointless thing I have watched in a very long time. The camera is all over the place, they should have
hired a monkey to hold it more steady. Ochsenknecht is not a bad actor, but actors need directing,
and there is none of that here. The story (two guys leave their bossy wives and spoiled children to find
wisdom in the east) is presented in a home-video style that makes you motion sick, and the (improvised?) dialogue is embarassing. Watching my washing machine doing a whole program is more interesting!
