I think that in any nation, many people do not have a good impression of the police.
For better or worse, there are corrupt cops. There are those who abuse their authority, there are racists and yes, there are those who do their job well. But of course it will always be problematic to give power to a person who will abuse it.

Enforcement seems to try to give an impression of that problem, however the morality expressed in its story really leaves a lot to be desired, because the constant of its plot is to overwhelm the viewer with a frenzy of action instead of leaving room to actually discuss what it is trying to talk about, and this is reflected in a devastating way when you get to the end and realize that even after everything they went through, nothing was resolved, nothing was really questioned, only some wounds were opened to make you believe that at least the argument is somehow more valid because they tried to expose it.
That's lazy storytelling.

After more than 4 centuries, something is still rotten even in the state of Denmark: and why shouldn't it? Film about the omnipervasiveness of moral ambivalence that the two directors would like to demonstrate with a script

After more than 4 centuries, something is still rotten even in the state of Denmark: and why shouldn't it? Film about the omnipervasiveness of moral ambivalence that the two directors would like to demonstrate with a script more chock-full of fortuitous combinations than the text on synchronicity published by Jung and Pauli in '52.
